The Skill Tree mechanism is where you can spend your Skill Points and Ability Points to improve different stats of your character and get special abilities in Fire Force Online.

It is available from the point you start, and additional paths on the Skill Tree will open once you join a Fraction and reach enough Combat EXP to unlock your Generational Abilities.

While you can spend your points on any skill you wish, knowing which ones are better and essential for improving your character is always a good idea. Therefore, let’s take a look at which Skills on the Skill Tree are better.

How to Gain Ability & Skill Points

Before we get to the Skill Tree, you should know how to get Ability Points and Skill Points to spend on skills on the tree.

To gain these points, you should keep ranking up in the game. However, you get 1 Ability Point for each 5 Rank. So it is not very easy to collect them, it would be wise to spend them cautiously.

Which Skills You Should Upgrade

• Generational Abilities: First of all, you should always make sure that you upgraded all of your Generational Ability skills.

There are three Generations you might receive after you collected enough Combat EXP. The one you obtain will be completely random, but each generation has a unique path and set of skills that you should develop to the fullest for the best possible gameplay.

• Move Skills: Another Skill set you definitely need to maximize all the way is your Moves. Make sure that you unlocked all of them from the first moment you start spending your Skill and Ability Points.

• Subclass Skills: Subclasses unlock after rank 25 and they are add-ons to your current ability. You can obtain a subclass after you complete a Trainer’s Respective Quest.

There are 5 Subclasses you can obtain and 3 Skills for each Subclass. Unlocking these skills give you additional moves compatible with your Subclass. You will need to spend 2 Ability Points and 1 Skill Point to unlock the three Skill.

• Heat & Energy Increase: Once you get your Augment, you will want to unlock Heat Increase and Energy Increase on the Skill Tree. You need to obtain two for each, and you need to spend 1 Skill Point for each of them. Those two skills also connected to Enchanter that costs 2 Skill Points.

• Defense Skills: The Defense Skills are important for you to become a stronger character in the game. It is a good idea to maximize all of them if you can.

In the early stages of the game, if you do not want to invest your points in defense skills, it is acceptable to put them on hold for a while. However, you need at the very least make sure that you have obtained the Sturdy and Increased Regen abilities.

• Heavy Hitter: Even though it is not a necessary skill to unlock, Heavy Hitter might help you as it makes you slow people more when you use M1 on them. So i you have extra Points you want to spend, this one is a good Skill to choose.

• Agility Skills: You should first unlock the Quick Thinker and get the Agility Increase. This skill is pretty important as it greatly lowers the dashing cooldown. If you do not get this, you will find yourself in a disadvantaged position.

You can stop at the Agility Increase and be alright if you don’t want to keep improving your agility skills. However, make sure you get the Agility Increase for sure.
