Roblox Z Battlegrounds: Goku Black Guide

The complete Goku Black guide!

Roblox Z Battlegrounds is a new fighting game on Roblox that is inspired by The Strongest Battlegrounds game. This game is currently a work in progress meaning that the developers are continuously adding new content and characters for players to use. The main premise of the game is to use various anime characters and their abilities to defeat other players in combat. This guide will focus on the newly added character in the game, which is Goku Black.

Goku Black Guide

Goku Black is only the second character to be added to the game that has the zero-to-death combo

Mouse 1 Combos

The simple mouse one attack with Goku Black also has different variations depending on the inputs provided. The Light Kockback requires four mouse ones in quick succession. The Kockup requires three mouse one inputs, and the last should be the spacebar. Finally, the Knockdown requires three mouse one inputs, followed by the spacebar and then another mouse one.

Black Kamehameha

The first attack that Goku Black has is the Black Kamehameha wave which is similar to the normal Kamehameha. The exception is that this attack is colored purple. There are two different damage versions for this attack which depend on the amount of time spent charging the attack. The longer you charge the attack, the more damage it deals.

Additionally, the Black Kamehameha attack comes out faster than Goku’s Kamehameha and also finishes faster. Although this difference is not that much, it is certainly noticeable to the trained eye.

Godly Variants

The next attack is Godly Variants which has three different versions that all depend on the aforementioned mouse one attacks. The first version requires no mouse inputs are acts on its own, dealing 13% damage to the enemy. Although this attack does deal damage, it is not that useful on its own, and we recommend chaining it into a combo due to the slight knockback that it provides.

Normal variant

You can chain it with the Black Kamehameha or the Godly Slicer move. However, using this move is not recommended since, in the ragdoll animation, the enemy will have invincibility frames that will allow them to counterattack.

Knockdown animation

The second variant involves the Knockdown combo that was mentioned before. If you use the Knockdown combo and then chain it into the Godly Variants, you can deal damage to your opponent. The move involves dragging the enemy across the floor and then smashing them into the ground.

Dragging through ground

The final version of the attack involves the Knockup variation. When timed correctly, the player will be launched into the air and sent back into the ground with devastating force. The knockdown from this combo is not that significant, as the enemy will be motionless for around two seconds

Knockup variant

Power Ball

The next move that Goku Black has is called the Power Ball. In this, the user hovers in the air and unleashes a black and yellow colored ball that deals damage to the opponent and the surrounding area. Once you hit your opponent, you can also teleport behind them to chain this attack into further combos.

Using Powerball

However, unlike the Kamehameha attacks, this move has a set time that it takes to execute as it does not require to be charged. This means that the damage is always consistent. Despite being a good move, it is quite predictable in the battle since, upon seeing the animation, your opponent can simply dodge the move using his/her skills.

The damage radius of this move is not that large, meaning that you will have to be precise with aiming it. Hence we recommend that instead of aiming for the position of the enemy, try to predict where he will end up and aim for that location when using this move. Additionally, blocking the move is good, but you will suffer from chip damage, and your opponent won’t be able to teleport behind you.

Godly Slicer

The final move that Goku Black is the Godly Slicer. In the attack animation, when the user moves across the area, there are a few Invincibility Frames. What this means is that if your opponent is a skilled player, he/she can easily knock you out of this attack.

Dash animation

However, once you reach the climax of the move, which involves the uppercut into the air, then you cannot be hit. This move provides the heaviest knockdown in the entire game, with your opponent being immobilized for around 4-5 seconds. The reason for the extended knockdown is that this move is a combo extender for the Power Ball move. Using Powerball immediately after Godly Slicer results in a combo that cannot be avoided.

Optimal Combo

The best combo for this character can also be considered the 0-Death combo. However, it is important to note that this combo works only if your opponent does not have any evasive or ragdoll-canceling dash move. This combo is so powerful that if you catch them once with it, you are guaranteed to win the fight.

For this, you need to use the Knockup attack first and then chain it into the Godly Slicer. Take care of the timing here, depending on the latency of your opponent. After Godly Slicer knocks the opponent into the ground, chain this into the Powerball move and aim it directly downwards. Finally, use the Knockup attack again and chain it into the Black Kamehameha. Due to the stun provided, you can continue with a dash attack into a Kockup and finish off the combo with the Godly Variants attack.

Optimal combo

One last tip that we have is that when chaining variant attack, always input the move before the animation ends. This ensures that the attack is properly executed, and your timing is always perfect. We hope that this guide for Goku Black was helpful to you. Let us know in the comments below if there are any other characters that you would like us to cover.
