Starfield: Eye of the Storm Guide

“Eye of the Storm” is one of the quest lines in Starfield that a lot of people are stuck in. We’re going to share the walkthrough for this quest with you. From the start to the final step, and guide you through to the end. Don’t rage, enjoy the game!

Eye of the Storm Guide

The start of the “Eye of the Storm” prompts you to find and talk to Delgado as the Crimson Fleet is on high alert. You will hand over the Conduction Grid Schematics to Jazz. And then Delgado will want you to head to Bannoc IV and “bring Kryx’s Legacy home.”

Next up in the quest, you have to install both the ComSpike Module and the Conduction Grid Module. Jazz told you about it, but unfortunately, there’s nothing Bethesda provides in the game says anything more about it. So you’re probably stuck here because Bannoc IV keeps blowing you up whatever you do.

Head over into your Ship Builder and choose Add under the Equipment category. Confirm the modification. After you install them, now you have to head to the UC Vigilance. Set course from your quest page to immediately jump to your target.

Dock the ship on the mothership of the UC Vigilance. Once inside, take the stairs to your left, go straight and the elevator will be on your left. In the Operations Center, you can talk to Commander Ikande.

Go back to your ship. It’s the time of truth – we’re going to fly into Bannoc IV’s system. Set course from your quest page and jump to the target location. Fly through the storm, towards the Unknown Signal location while carefully dodging the floating rocks and debris.

Dock on the ship. Board the GalBank Transport “Legacy” and head into the Vault Control Center.

Take the stairs to your left and then go left. There’s another set of staircase in the corner, On the 2nd floor, go left and keep going until the end of the hallway where there’s another staircase. You’ll find a Transfer Module Lock.

The Transfer Module is behind you, with the dead body to your right. RIP Osterholt. Use that to unlock the vault door.

Enter the vault, go down the stairs to your left, and keep moving forward. From here onward, be careful of the cameras as you keep moving deeper into the vault. Remember to step aside when opening doors so the camera doesn’t immediately sees you.

First camera is just right in front of you. Wait until it rotates before you dash for the door to your left. The camera for the second room is similarly in front of you again so hide and wait. Once it looks away, dash to the rightmost door.

Once you go through the door, the camera will be in the left corner. And right next to it is also the third door you need to go through.

Keep going straight and past the orange door is another camera to your left. The door underneath it is where you need to go.

From here, you’ll have to do some combat stuff. Avoiding the mechas might be impossible considering how tight the space is. You’re better off dealing with them now so they don’t pose a problem later.

Right next to the System Error message is the door you need to go through. Fight the mechas, destroy the turret in the corner next to the door, and keep going. You can check the weapon rack in this room for anything you might need.

Go through another door and then another door to your left. In this wide area, you can just run past the turrets if dealing with them takes too much time or resources. Be careful of mechas spawning around this area.

Go down the floor and go through the room under the turret here to go up the stairs again. Follow the path and you’ll find another door you can go through. Interact with the Remove Security Door Control to unlock the door.

Run towards the opposite corner of the room while being careful of the turrets in this area. There’s going to be another turret in the corner before the door you have to destroy quickly. It’ll deal a lot of damage in this narrow alleyway.

You will find the quest item Jasper Kryx’s possessions and the legendary rifle Revenant on the table. After listening to the recording, take the GalBank Transfer Module next to Jasper Kryx’s body. Turn on the Power Override Controls, put in both Transfer Module Locks, then Download Control Switch.

After you take out the Data Core Port and Transfer Module Locks, system failure begins. The ship will begin to fall apart, the hull breached, and you have to run out of here.

Go back the way you came from which is down the stairs. Jump down and follow the direction from which the mecha came out from.

Turn right to go down the stairs and you’re back in the room filled with turrets. Run past the turrets and go up the stairs which is on the right to go through the door on the left.

Keep going straight through another door, then use the Vault Door Computer to unlock the door. You need to go up the stairs to your left, through the door and into the room with the weapon rack.

To the right of the weapon rack is another set of stairs you can go down. Go left from here until you see a door to your right. Keep going straight while sticking to the right wall to turn right, then turn back to the direction of your quest marker.

Go up a set of stairs to go left and keep going straight until you go up the stairs and go right. Beyond this is a gap that you have to jump across.

By here, you’ll have only one way to go with each explosion blocking all the other ways. Keep going and go right, and then left again. Then go right, right again, and another right. Then to the left and another left.

Jump down the ledge and to the left where you can see your quest marker is pointing.

You’re now back in your ship.
