There’s a lot of strong and monstrous beasts that you can unlock in Kaiju Universe. While some require stuff like G-Cells, some of the Kaiju are locked behind a quest or an event. Now that Halloween is just around the corner, the Halloween Event has already made its way to the game.
With the event comes a Kaiju that you can unlock called Cleric Muto by completing a challenge. If you’re interested in acquiring it for yourself, this guide will help you unlock this Kaiju fast!
How To Unlock Cleric Muto Fast
First up, you can unlock the Cleric Muto by beating the Sanctum event. You can find the entrance of the event in the Arctic.
Now, to explain how the event works, the goal is to spend the longest time in the middle of the Sanctum.Whoever hits a total of 300 seconds first wins and get the Cleric Muto as reward.
With that said, here are tips and strategies that you might find useful to come up on top of the Sanctum event.
The first tip is to use a good and strong Kaiju – As obvious as it sounds, you’d want to keep in mind to use the best-of-the-best. Now, here’s my recommended Kaiju‘s for the event:
- The Destroyah is good because of its sheer tanky-ness.
- Meanwhile, using Monster Zero’s Alpha Roar can devastate enemies.
- Next, Thermo’s defensive power, high damage and high area pulses prove to be effective for this event.
- Also, Ultima really shines if you use its red mist. It’s also extremely tanky with massive damage to boot.
You can also use anyone with a knockback – as much as you need damage in this event, the Sanctum isn’t all about damaging everyone – It’s about keeping others out. For this specific aspect of the event, here’s the Kaijus that excel:
- These Kaijus have insanely good Knockbacks: Manda, Frostbite and especially Muto Prime.
Also, you can try using some Kaiju that’s super tanky – Remember, you’ll want to stay in the Sanctum as long as you can. That’s why a Kaiju with tons of health is great for this. Here are my recommendations for this:
- Muto Prime, Thermo, Ultima, and both Behemoths.
Next, you can also consider utilizing Kaijus with Parries – Here are my recommendations for this one:
- Cherno Alpha and Kong.
- However, you can also use Male Muto as long as you use a specific strategy.
- You can do this by flying above a certain area, waiting until something bad happens and parrying. Doing this again and again will help your survive grounding.
Now, for a good specific Kaiju, you can also try using SP Anguirus – It can block damage for a long time and there doesn’t seem to be any restrictions in place for it.
Speaking of restrictions, you’d want to always be cautious and keep them in mind. What this means is that certain Kaijus are weaker in the Sanctum. For instance:
- Frozen Behemoth’s giant frozen garden doesn’t work.
- And neither do Rose Biolante’s traps.
For the next tip, only use pulses very rarely. To explain this, All AOE attacks, like stomps, pulses and hollow quarry, have 75% less damage in the Sanctum. This debuff makes Kaijus like Thermo and Millenium weaker.
Up next, be smart about how often you go for the goal. You must get a nice balance of the two things mentioned below.
- If you go for it ALL the time, you’ll pretty much die fast.
- However, if you stay out of it too much, you won’t get any time and some else will win before you.
Also, grounding will help, as flying enemies can be a pain to deal with. However, I wouldn’t recommend using a character just for grounding.
With that said, I recommend using one from the many Kaijus mentioned before that has the grounding ability.
Moreover, it’ll help tremendously against, say, a Male Muto camping above the arena, for example.
And that sums it up for the tips and strategy on how to unlock the Cleric Muto fast in Kaiju Universe.
If you can’t win, just try again later. Last year, the Sanctum in Kaiju Universe didn’t end until 10 days into November. If you’re having a hard time completing the event, I recommend waiting out a bit until the hype dies down, so that you can fight less sweaty and more easier enemies.
