Choosing Your First Leader

Upon starting the game, you are going to need to choose your first leader. This decision will be extremely crucial for you, as you will play with that leader until you can unlock the others.

While some leaders are better for beginners and easier to understand, others might be confusing and not at all advantageous for someone who does not know much about the Warcraft Rumble.

Unfortunately, you will be given three options, and you can only select one of them as your starting leader. These choices will be completely random. So, even though you might want to choose another one, you might have to stick with whatever you get.

Still, you can try your best to choose the better option among the three. All you need to do is do a little research on the characters.

Spending Your Gold

Gold is the currency in Warcraft Rumble, and it is required to obtain anything you can think of. Therefore, you are going to need to spend your gold very wisely. When it comes to spending your gold, the best option is to use it to unlock new content, like talent, minis, and leaders.

Unless you intend to buy it with real money, using your gold to level up your minis or leaders is not a wise use of your resources. If you decide to do that, it is highly possible for you to regret it later.

Although it might be tempting to level up your Minis quickly, you will soon run out of Gold and will not have any gold left to buy anything useful.

The Arclight Surge events—which happen every Wednesday and Saturday at midnight—are the most effective way to get more Gold. Since each event lasts for three days, you should have enough time to complete them before the start of the following one.

During the event, two randomly selected areas will be illuminated with blue light. You are going to receive 40 Gold each for finishing these zones quickly, or 60 Gold each if you have bought the permanent Gold and Experience account boost.

You can also participate in PvP to get gold, but we do not recommend you do that as a beginner in the game.

In short, do not use your gold to purchase Experience to upgrade your heroes. You can easily upgrade them through quests, participating in battles, and winning them in the game. While you can do that, gaining gold is not as easy as finding ways to upgrade your heroes and talents.

Upgrading Your Army

Each leader has an army that you are going to take with you to the battle zone. You can use the Dungeon system to enhance a Leader’s Army. You can upgrade one slot in that Leader’s Army each time you defeat a dungeon.

When you open your leader’s team, you are going to notice that each mini has a little icon on top of it. These are the buffs you are going to get by putting the correct minis in the right slots.

In all modes, the Mini’s level increases by one for every slot upgrade, up to a maximum of three levels. Bronze (+1 Level), Silver (+2 Levels), and Gold (+3 Levels) indicate the upgrade level.

You are going to start the game with only two buffs, and then you are going to have a chance of getting more as you complete the dungeons.

Arranging Your Units

The way your troops are positioned affects how effective they are on the battlefield. Arrange:

• Ranged units in advantageous positions to launch long-range attacks
• Melee units in the front to absorb hits and flying units for strategic mobility.

Ensuring that every unit is positioned in the best possible way helps to maximize their effectiveness and enhances their contribution during battles.

Having a good army is important, but knowing how to use it is even more crucial. By doing that, you can raise your chances of winning the battle.

Using Mini Blocking

This is useful in some circumstances where you have a very fast mini like a Huntress and a very slow mini.

In that case, you do not want the huntress to run past the slow mini so what you are going to need to do is place the slow mini first and the huntress after that. You should place it directly behind so that the huntress gets stuck until he is able to sneak by it.

However, for the most part, it will get stuck behind it which means it will not run ahead of the slow mini and stay behind it like a shield. Thus, this is a good trick that you can use when you want to pair two minis that have different speeds.
