Murkdeep

For the first boss on the list, we have the Murkdeep. This boss will have a Multi-target cleave attack and a single-target knife throw. It may look like it’s not a big deal, but he will always be enraged whenever a murloc is slain.

He spawns a lot of Murlocs so most of the time, he’s enraged and can kill your units in one or two shots. You might think to bring tank units to counter this, but the damage is so high that it’s not worth it.

The best tactic to defeat this boss is to just whittle down their health with as many units as possible. Use Cheat Death so that they get an attack or two off before they die. You can also use spells but without heroes like Jaina Proudmoore, it might get expensive.

Lunaclaw

The next boss on the list is Lunaclaw and this is another boss where bringing a tank is not optimal. That’s because the boss can fire beams of light when a unit reaches halfway up the map. The unit chosen is also random so even if you have a tank, it can attack your backline if it wants to.

The one up-side of this boss is that both its melee and ranged attacks are single targets only. Using the same strategy as the previous one you can whittle its HP down with a lot of units ganging up on him.

Cheat Death will also make this boss fight easier as it’ll take longer for the boss to clear enemies around him, dealing more damage.

Onu, Ancient of Lore

The gimmick with the next boss is that it summons minibosses that act like structures. Onu, Ancient of Lore will always spawn with two mini-bosses. One will always be in the center while the other one will be either on the upper left or upper right.

When the mini-bosses are defeated, they’ll respawn with the one on the upper areas switching to either left or right.

The mini-bosses count as structures, so units like Gargoyles can work well against them because of their siege damage. They will constantly summon spiders though so keep that in mind. They’re not strong but they do have numbers.

As long as you keep defending against the mini-bosses and send waves to the boss, you can whittle him down and defeat him.

AOE spells can help here when dealing with the many spiders that spawn in the level. Angry Chickens are also good because the boss and the mini-boss only have single-target attacks.

Shadowclaw

For this next boss, it will be roaming in a circle on the top half of the map. It is a fairly easy boss to defeat if you have the right units. What we’ll need mainly is the Quillboar and the Welp Eggs. The other units can focus on clearing waves and defending.

What you’ll want to do is place Welp Eggs and Shadowclaw will destroy them summoning Welps. You can then spawn a Quillboar next to the Welps, so it’ll tank the boss while the flying units attack it.

Sometimes, a Huntress will be there to attack the Welps so keep that in mind. Repeat the process until the boss is defeated!

Lady Vespira

For the last boss on the list, we have Lady Vespira. And for this, you’ll want a Quillboar in your deck. We’ll need that unit to tank a special attack she’ll do when the rest of our units get close.

Directly below Vespira are two summoning stones, and when one of them is taken she will start casting Chain Lightning. This can be troublesome for your wave of units, that’s why when she starts casting it, place a Quillboar on the other lane closer to Vespira.

Make sure the Quillboar is not in melee range, so it’ll continue tanking the chain lightning while the bulk of your forces advances from the other side.

Those are all the Darkshore Heroic bosses in Warcraft Rumble. Now, go out there and try to clear them out yourself!
