When you play Lethal Company, you tend to scream, sometimes a little bit too much. With all the commotion happening in all the grounds, players left and right start forgetting how some of the scavenging equipment work. Clearly, the company has been cutting back on quality of hire to try and turn a profit.
But it’s never too late to learn the ropes, your tools are the only things that can save you from certain death. This applies very well to the Radar Booster as well. Check out the rest of the equipment crash course blow to find out more!
How To Use Radar Booster
The Radar Booster acts like an additional camera point. It also creates an audible ping that can be heard by other players when activated from the ship.
Using this piece of equipment requires a player presence inside of the ship. You can buy the Radar Booster from the Terminal with 50 credits.
Now, if you’re wondering where the heck your Radar Booster went after buying it, check out this guide on Lethal Company: Where To Pickup Orders From Terminal.
Having a Radar Booster gives a significant advantage to your scavenging party if used properly. All you have to do to activate the Radar Booster is left-click on it. Follow up with a press of the “G” key to leave it on the ground. Where you put it, however, is a different story.
It’s recommended to place this device near the entrance or exit of a facility. Doing that will help the communications officer on the ship relay information to the scavengers outside.
This information will usually circle around general room safety. Once placed, you can go back to the ship in order to view the room. Push the button on the side of the monitor to switch to the Radar Booster.
You and the rest of the scavenging party can have an agreement on what pinging does for a specific session. This can mean that you’re either pinging them because the room is occupied by a monster or you’re telling your party that the coast is clear.
All you have to do to do that is to type the “Ping” command on the terminal. The sound the Radar Booster makes is enough to drive away monsters. Just make sure they’re not running towards your party when you ring it.
And that’s how you can use the Radar Booster in Lethal Company. Be careful how you mess around with that thing. It might attract the wrong kind of attention!
