The importance of paper maybe of the simplest thing that makes Nightingale unique. Compared to other hardcore survival games, Nightingale has a dungeon system where users have to actively craft cards to enter realms. And that’s what makes paper so important in the game.
How to Get Paper
Paper is made of Wood Bundle. Using the Simple Saw Table, you can make Paper and see other basic recipes in there as well.
Now, in order to make the Simple Saw Table, you can follow the guide attached above. But if you only need the materials, here they are:
- 8x Wood Bundle (From chopping the logs that you see on the ground)
- 4x Stone Block (Use a Pickaxe and mine the stone piles around the map)
- 4x Animal Fibre (Use a Simple Tanning Station and convert the Meat items into Animal Fibre)
NOTE: You may need to buy the schematic for the Simple Saw Table first from an Essence Trader.
If you haven’t known yet, Wood Bundles can be found from simply chopping down trees. Spend 2 Wood Bundles to craft 1 Paper.
Wood Bundle is a necessity in the game, not just for Paper, but also for Lumber, crude-tier constructions, and more. Once you have Paper, you can now craft cards which will allow you to enter a realm.
Following the first Site of Power, you’re going to need to make cards. Here’s where knowing this will be super useful for you. Paper, combined with inks and Essences, will be the most seen combination in the game as you venture into different realms.
