Nellie Bly can be found in the Herbarium Desert. But she’s not actually in the Desert itself. She is located at the top of a small mountain, one that will require you to climb up the mountain, as there are no other ways to get up there (unless you were able to unlock the portal up there). So how do you get up the mountain? One answer: Climbing Picks.

How to Climb Up the Mountain
Climbing Picks are items you can craft and use to climb up mountains. Similar to games like Breath of the Wild, climbing up will reduce your stamina and when the Stamina bar reaches zero, you will fall off and die (depending on how high you are). The problem with Nightingale’s Stamina is that it drains super fast, making climbing a chore to do. But, there is an easy way to do this.
While climbing up, there will be edges that you can stand and rest. Always aim to climb to these edges and rest there. Never go past them as your Stamina will reach zero quick. This is the key to getting up the mountain without your Stamina ever reaching zero.
When you reach the top of the mountain, you can find Nellie Bly standing in front of a wooden table on the side. Talk to her and you will complete the quest objective.
