When playing through a survival crafting game, there are a lot of different resources that you’ll need to learn where to get. Some of them can be gathered from the map, like your standard wood and stone, while others need to be crafted.
In Nightingale, there are a bunch of resources locked behind crafting stations. You’ll need to know which crafting station you need to create these resources so that you can create advanced items.
In this guide, we’ll show you where you can get clothes in the game that you need to craft. We’ll review what items you’ll need and what crafting bench you’ll use. Now, let’s see how we can get this one!
How To Get Cloth
There are a lot of resources in Nightingale and half of them, you can’t get from just gathering. It would help if you crafted them and sometimes you need to craft something else to craft the one you need. That’s the catch when making clothes so here’s how you can make them!
Here are the steps that we’ll be taking to get Cloth in Nightingale:
- Craft a Refined Spinning Wheel
- Craft Thread using Plant fibers in the Refined Spinning Wheel.
- Use the Threads to craft cloth!

Detailed Walkthrough
Cloth in the game isn’t a resource you gather from plants but is one that you craft. To craft Cloth, you’ll need at least a Refined Spinning Wheel workbench as shown below. Once you’ve built one for your base use it for crafting.
NOTE: You can buy the schematic for the Refined Spinning Wheel from the Refined Vendor.
The Cloth recipe will be under the Refinement tab and for it, you’ll need 2 threads to create one. So, if you need a lot of cloth for gear, you’ll want to first make a lot of threads.
SIDE NOTE: If you’re making a lot of treads or cloth sometimes, you’ll want to split the stacks. Here’s a guide on how to split item stacks in the game!
To make threads, you’ll need to gather Fiber (Plant) and then make the thread in the same Refined Spinning Wheel. Once you’ve made 2, you can then make a single piece of cloth.
Cloth is used to craft all sorts of stuff like armor that you can wear to give you more protection. You can also use cloth to make durable cloth by combining it with Lining, this is used for better armor in the game.
That’s how you can find the cloth resource in Nightingale. Now, go out there and craft a bunch to use for later! Check out our guide on how to teleport home in the game to make traveling easier once you’ve collected a bunch of stuff!
