So you decided to make a little animal farm, but you’re missing some weird thing called Spinifex Tuft? You’ve come to the right place! We’ll go over how you can harvest Spinifex and how to turn it into Resin.
Dinkum: Where To Find Spinifex Tuft & Resin
In order for you to be able to gather Spinifex Tuft, which is a small bush-like spiky plant, you’re going to need a Scythe. If you don’t already have one, you can make it via the Crafting Table – to do so, you’re going to need 3 Tin Bars (smelted from Tin Ores) and 1 Palm Wood Plank.
Now that you have your Scythe, you can head out into the island, in search of the plant. As I mentioned, it’s a small spiky-looking bush plant – it resembles in-game Grass, but in a darker shade of green.
Apparently, Spinifex prefers areas where there is normal Grass as well, as it’s usually found alongside it.
How to Make Spinifex Resin
Transforming harvested Spinifex into Resin is a very simple process – all you need is a Campfire!
Equip the Spinifex Tuft you previously harvested with your Scythe, go to your Campfire (or make one from 3 Stones and 2 Gum Logs) and just throw the Tuft into the fire. Within less than a second, Spinifex Resin should come out of the fire which you can then pick up and use to make anything you need!
