Japanese Roleplaying Games can have a lot of different mechanics in their battles. Even turn-based RPGs can be complex at times with different attributes, combos and other unique mechanics that are stacked on top of the simple turn-based gameplay. Games like Disgaea and Persona games can have unique ways of dealing with enemies and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is no different. In this guide we’ll show you how to you raise your Interlink Level in fights.
How To Raise Interlink Level In Xenoblade Chronicles 3
What is the Interlink mechanic anyway? Well it’s a mechanic you need to increase so that you can do much more complex moves later on the game like Ouroboros transformations and so on. That’s why it’s important that you know how to increase this in battle.
The Interlink level can be seen on the lower left corner of the UI when battle starts. It usually starts at 0 and you need to do certain things increase the level.
To increase the level of your Interlink you need to do Fusion Arts. This is done when both abilities in both sides of the panel is charged at the same time, like on the image below.
Once both abilities are charged you can press the Fusion button to do a Fusion Art, doing more Fusion Arts will increase your Interlink Level. You can charge up these abilities by just doing normal attacks and sometimes it’s better to wait for both abilities to light up so you can do a Fusion Art.
