The wonderful world of Xenoblade Chronicles is very vast and needs different methods of traveling in order to explore all of it. In today’s guide, we will be showing you a way that is often missed by a lot of the players – climbing sand hills and dunes. Let’s see how you can unlock it and how you can use it.

How To Climb Sand Hills & Dunes – Xenoblade Chronicles 3

You will spot these Sand Hills and Dunes in the desert areas. There will be places that are just within your reach but because of these tricky things that lead you and roll you down the hill, you’re unable to get them.

You can try walking up on them all you can, but still, at the end of the day, you will be pushed all the way back down to where you started. You will need the right skill in order to be able to get past them or simply climb them. Well, the game’s climbing isn’t the best so even if you have it unlocked you might be facing some issues.

This is one of the games Traversing Skills that you can actually miss. It will not be included in the main story so you might be thinking that these sand dunes need an extreme way of glitching your way through them.

You can get it at Level 28 and it is located in the Aetia Region. You will need to go to this location and there will be a question mark here that represents a side quest.

Complete the side quest and you’ll have it unlocked. The quest itself is very easy. Just use the tracker that the game gives you and follow that general location. It is a hero quest which is called Going Beyond Power.

Congratulations on unlocking it! Now you can access whole new previously unreachable areas in the game. Have fun traveling!
