You can do tons of things in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. But just like the real world that we live in, also in this fictional fantasy world you’ll need to save up some coins and cash to be able to buy or craft things first. In this guide, we will be talking about the Nopon Coins and Currency and explaining what it is that you can use it for. Let’s get started.
What To Do With Nopon Coins – Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Nopon Coins are available for obtaining very early on in the game. There are two types of currencies that you can use for shopping in Xenoblade Chronicles 3:
- Silver
- Gold
They both do pretty much the same thing. They just have different qualities and power obviously.
Cooking
Once you’ve unlocked cooking you can go to any campfire and then cook your recipes using Coins instead of Ingredients. It doesn’t cost both, it is one or the other.
Typically and usually you’ll want to use the Ingredients because they are much easier to obtain and actually harvest throughout the game’s world and map. But the thing is that you can only hold 99 of the coins at a time. So if you’re at a maximum it is better off to just be using them instead of them stockpiling and losing them.
Look at it like this, use the Nopon Coins just to get some good effects and bonuses from the food for a period of time. When you get to max Coins, use them on all the food you can.
Gem Crafting
Once you have unlocked Gem Crafting you can do very much the same here.
Instead of using the materials that you have obtained by mining throughout the game’s world, you can simply save yourself some time and use the Nopon Currency instead.
Other Methods
The two other uses for the Coins are:
- Quest System under the Collectopedia – then you can use your Nopon Coins instead of the ingredients to get some cards here.
- Go into the Character Class Screen and simply Level Up your classes.
