How To Get Shortsword Module
If you want to make your characters stronger in The First Descendant, you’ll want to get the right modules. These can give you all sorts of bonuses from stat upgrades to even changing the way some attacks work. The latter is what the Shortsword Module is!
Here are the steps that we’ll be taking to get the Shortsword Module in the game:
- Go to the Echo Swamp Map.
- Select the Abandoned Zone Normal Mission on the eastern side of the map.
- Kill enemies around the mission until you get the Shortsword Module drop!

Detailed Walkthrough
To get the Shortsword Module, much like most modules, you’ll need to do a specific mission. The mission you’re looking for is the Abandoned Zone in Echo Swamp. Go to the eastern part of the map and there you’ll find the mission as shown below.
When going through this mission, you’ll have a 50% chance of getting the Shortsword Module as a drop from certain enemies. Make sure to clear out as many of the enemies as possible to get the module faster.
For the game, a 50% drop rate is high compared to the other modules out there. The Shortsword Module will let you change the Charged Sub Attack by making it use a shortsword.
