In some games, they let you gather or collect resources and materials to make upgrades for your characters. Sometimes, these resources are hard to find since they can only spawn on certain quests or areas. Some of them even have low drop chances which can lead to a lot of grind!
In The First Descendant, there’s a lot of grinding that you’ll need to do to get certain upgrade materials. Before you go and spend hours grinding, you’ll first need to know where to find these materials. That’s because only certain enemies or missions drop them!

How To Get Divided Plasma Batteries
When going through The First Descendant, you’ll notice that you’ll need a lot of materials to upgrade your gear and characters. Most of these materials only drop from certain missions or enemies and the Divided Plasma Battery is no different.
Here are the steps that we’ll be taking to get Divided Plasma Batteries in the game:
- Head to the Agna Desert Map.
- Go to Either The Asylum or Caligo Ossuary missions on that map.
- Kill the Elite Commanders to have a chance of getting Divided Plasma Batteries!

Detailed Walkthrough
To get Divided Plasma Batteries in the game, you’ll first need to go to the Agna Desert map. From there, you have two choices: The Asylum mission to the east or the Caligo Ossuary mission to the west. Both of these missions can spawn the Elite enemy that drops the batteries.
Both of these missions can be quite long, but don’t worry since you don’t need to complete all of them! All you need to do is defeat the Elite Enemies and see if they drop the batteries, then you can repeat the mission.
However, to farm these batteries effectively, you’ll want to use fast characters like Bunny to speed through the mission. Go through the mission as fast as possible and repeatedly defeat the Elite enemies then get out. Repeat that until you have enough Divided Plasma Batteries!
