Let’s give you a hint…

What Are Severed Heads? – Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

If you spend your time as any normal person would, you know, resting in this game, you may find severed heads in your inventory. Randomly, no explanation.

You will just see the item shown in this picture that will give you the creeps:

Not only are they creepy, but they are extremely heavy, weighing 10 pounds per head.

If you want a spoiler free answer to your question, here it is: You will learn very late in the game what is up with them, but you should always keep 1 in the inventory.

The other ones you can just leave in your chest at home, since they won’t be much use. At some point later in the game, you will get an event regarding that head in regards to a companion.

This quest is incredibly interesting and does not deserve spoiling, so just know that this will be a major twist to the story and you should really pay attention to the small details to realize what might be happening.

If you’re still curious what is up with them, you can find the answer in many places, but if you don’t want any spoilers, do not search them up anymore. You will receive major main story spoilers.
