Playing the way you want to play is one of the most important choices when starting a game. Do you want to be a tank that takes hits and shrugs them off? Do you want to be a rogue that likes to jump in and attack before hiding again? Plenty of ways to play, so you have to be sure that the character you choose is the one for you. In Across the Obelisk, there are four starting characters to choose from. In this guide, we will show you what they do and how you can use them.
Best Starting Characters & Decks – Across the Obelisk
There are four starting characters you can select from that will determine what kind of deck you will be building. Here is a list of those characters and what deck they are good for.
- Magnus – Good for high defense and high attack decks, but has slow speed.
- Andrin – Good for both melee and range attacks with the best speed, but low attack. Perfect for those who want to focus on speed.
- Evelyn – Can use the elements to enchant her allies. Great for support decks.
- Reginald – Can heal other party members and can do holy damage. Great for support decks.
Choosing the starting character is tough, as each has its own pros and cons. It’s up to you to decide how you want to play the game early on, as the late game will allow you to customize your deck with high versatility.
