How to Get Water After Power is Out – Project Zomboid

After playing a while in the world of Project Zomboid you will get the power to go completely out. This way you will be left out with the best and most useful thing that you need – water. You won’t be able to actually go to the sinks and refill and drink water as much as you can.

That is why you will need to know of a method and way how to actually Get Water when the Power is out. It is simple really.

The first that you will need for this guide to be working is an actual Sink. You can go to the sink and drink water directly, but when you do not have a way to do this because of the power you will have to improvise.

You will go right next to the Sink. Then you will need to press on the Pick–Up option. This will have a % chance and sometimes it can be as low as 25%. So just keep on trying until you will have the Sink in your inventory.

You will pick up the Chrome Sink. Once you have it picked up, you will go to your home and place it wherever you want. You will open up the Carpentry and then press Bar and Bar Element.

Just place it anywhere in your house no matter where. You will then be on top of the roof of where your actual house is and then build Rain Collectors.

You will need to build them in a square around where the sink is going to be placed. So just make a full-on square with Raincolleectors with an actual open-up tile in the middle. It should look like this.

Then just place the Sink on the Bar that you have built previously and which is right under this Raincollector Square. Now you will need for an actual Rain to begin falling. If it rains more, it will be better since you will have more water.

Go under the roof where the Rain Collector is and then you will see that there is actual water in the Sink. It will be clean and you can use it for either drinking or washing yourself. Works like a charm!
