NEW Best Budget Rogue Farming Guide in Escape from Tarkov 0.13

Farming in video games has been a refined art since the very first MMOs, and we’re not talking about farming games like Stardew Valley! Repeatedly running dungeons, repeatedly killing mobs for their loot or currency, or doing repeatable missions for the rewards, players will always find the most optimal way to get what they want. In Escape from Tarkov there’s a popular way to farm Rogues in the game, and with the new update what did they change that might effect the farming route?

Escape from Tarkov 0.13: NEW Best Budget Rogue Farming Guide

Farming rogues in Escape from Tarkov is a great way to get good gear from the many AI rogues that spawn in the Lighthouse map. There’s two routes when it comes to farming the Rogues, one is when they’re not hostile to you like if you’re USEC, and two where they are hostile to you and that’s when you’re Bear or you’ve fought them before.

USEC Route

For the non-hostile route they can still turn hostile to you, so you have to make sure not to get too close to them to aggro them. You need to get to Warehouse 2 and from there you can see a door going to the building and a Rogue directly above it. Before going past the door, shoot the rogue dead.

Once it’s clear keep an ear out for their voice lines, if they’re saying something that means they’ve aggroed and you need to be more careful. With the new patch they sometimes get out of their gun emplacements and roam around. Go up the side of the warehouse and take out the other rogues on top.

I can’t stress it enough that you have to listen to their voice lines since that will tell you if they’ve aggroed at you or not. Once you’ve taken out the 3 rogues on top of Warehouse 2 you can then loot them and get out of there!

Hostile Route

So they’re hostile to you now, what will you do? Get to the Southeastern bridge and head to where the rogues are hugging the wall, you’ll need a weapon with a scop here and preferably knowledge on how to use it. You need to slowly move towards the first Rogue on the tower and take them out.

Once that’s done go directly below where you shot him and there should be a gap between the wall and the containers, slowly peak through the barrel and under the stairs to aim at the rogue at Warehouse 1. Be careful here since they can still shoot you from here.

Once you take them out remember to take out the other rogue on the other watchtower, sometimes they aggro and leave their post to go down so be cautious when engaging them.

Once they’re dead go ahead and loot them!
