To start the quest you’ll first need to talk to the NPC Chora-Zoi in the Rotunda area of the Crystarium. There you can start the quest “An Ongoing Improvement.”
The quest will give you one tool for free so choose wisely on what to get first, and for the rest of the tools you’ll need to spend a lot of Gatherer’s Scrips to purchase them.
To upgrade your tools you’ll need to equip the tool you want and talk to Chora-Zoi, then you’ll need to gather the necessary materials to upgrade them.
The Gathering Relics that you need are a bit more time-consuming than the crafting ones but will cost you no scrips and no additional crafting items, so that’s a bonus! All you need to do is gather the quest items from nodes and you’re all good!
