Honkai: Star Rail - Find the Researcher That Fits Pamela's Description

We love it when games have clear directions as to where we’re supposed to go. Seeing that quest icon on top of a character spoils us so much and reduce the workload of having to actually read what the quest is all about. Honkai: Star Rail and its sister game, Genshin Impact, are pretty generous with this and allow players to enjoy the game without having to think about what to do every single step of the way.

Sometimes we miss having to use our head to think out of a mission until, well, you’re at Find the Researcher That Fits Pamela’s Description part of ‘You Already Know Me‘ mission. There’s something about being told to find a man that wears glasses in a literal space station filled with that exact description that can be frustrating. Not to mention some characters use the same assets and that just increases the size of the hay stack.

This is part of the ‘You Already Know Me’ Companion Mission for Asta. At some point in the quest, you’ll have to take pictures of Himeko and send them to Pamela to get information about the rumor spreader.

Then she’ll tell you that the rumor maker is “a guy with black-framed glasses and side-swept bangs.” And there you go. The thing is, when you get to this part, instead of an icon on the NPC, you get a range of area that you have to look around in Base Zone.

It was at this point that you finally snapped out of your autopilot mode.

Snap a picture of this man that’s on the south side of the search area with a thinking posture. Then talk to the man and you’ll talk with the man who claimed to have substantive evidence and willing to show you the receipt.

That said, despite his claim to be among the genius, he couldn’t have been more conspicuous by using his real name as his anonymous identity. But whatever, you now know who this guy is and it’s time to head back to Asta.

While this quest isn’t as tough as Sensitive Beings 2 with its puzzles, you might still get puzzle when looking for the “guy with black-framed glasses and side-swept bangs.”!
