Aliens: Fireteam Elite PATHOGEN is a game that is criminally underrated. You will be going with a team to be clearing out whole caves full of aliens in a movie-like scenery. There are tons of classes to choose from and one of them is the Recon. In this guide, we will be showing you how to make the best Recon Build. Let’s get started.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite PATHOGEN – Best RECON Build

The Recon Kit is kind of not like anything else in this game. It is sort of a beast when it comes to kind of scenarios and situations but sometimes it can lack in some certain types of attributes. There are still so many ways how you can play with this build offering you a plethora of choices for attacking or defending.

Perks

These are the best perks that you should be using for your RECON build:

  • Focus – this is probably the most useless thing for using when playing with the Recon. Basically, it will give you stability and accuracy. These 2 things you do not need at all because you are playing with a scoped rifle.
  • Red is Dead – you will do an additional 10% bonus when you have already revealed the enemy targets that might be coming your way.
  • Threat Neutralized – this will give you a much more % DMG boost whenever you will get a headshot on a revealed enemy coming your way. It will also recharge all of your abilities by this amount too.
  • Got Your Back – whenever an enemy is attacking a teammate and you kill it, you will instantly will get your gun and your teammate’s gun to be fully reloaded. Possibly the best perk.
  • Back In The Fight – it will reduce your total recharge time by a total of 10% for you and your affected teammates

Pups

These are the best Pups that simply work on the Recon Build:

  • Best Friend – you will set up your Pups to support your teammates enhancing and buffing them in all of their stats. Also, it will reveal any enemy that might be attacking your teammate.
  • Combined Arms – you will grant your full team and companions a total of 20% increased Reload Speed, Weapon handling, and Range. Basically very good supportive pup.
  • Quick Charge II – you will get an increased Recharge Speed of an ability by 13%

Support Drone

These are the best perks that you should be choosing for your Support Drone:

  • The Long Haul – it will increase the whole duration of ability by 20%
  • Painkillers – it will increase the total DMG resistance for your team by 10%
  • Extended Duration III – increases the ability even longer
  • Batteries Included –  helping out your team in a variety of buffs.

Weapon

The best weapon and sniper rifle that you should be using for your RECON build is the Twilight V. 4. This doesn’t need any explanation it can just be said that you will be doing a lot of damage while being there for your teammates to be helping them out when needed.

Gameplay

Basically, the biggest thing that people forget to do with the Recon class is to drop ammo. There will be countless of situations where you will be needed to drop much more ammo than just to deal damage to some enemies. Keep that in mind.

That’s everything that you need to know about the Best Recon Build in Aliens Fireteam Elite. We hope that this guide has helped you out with how to become a better overall support sniper player. A big thank you to TG Whitta. Check him out here for more details.
