Apex Legends is an online multiplayer battle royale game in which teams of three players use pre-made characters with unique skills known as “Legends,” which are similar to those seen in hero shooters. Being a multiplayer game means one thing – the possibility of cheaters. Let’s talk about the latest news concerning them – where cheating might end for good.

New Update Ends Cheating For Good – Apex Legends

Apex Legends has been hit also by its fair share of cheaters in the game. All the players will say that even in recent times, after countless of promises by the developers, there are still cheaters and they’re stronger than ever.

Cheaters in Apex Legends usually tended to use Wall Hacks in the past. This was their biggest go-to because of the weakness that Apex had in its system. They couldn’t be tracked down and they were using it non-stop. The only thing that eventually was caught was the Aimbot.

The cheaters were so frequent that even some streamers had a constant Cheater Counter opened! This was really the dark ages of Apex Legends. They have changed a lot of stuff since then, and still, we are experiencing cheaters today too.

They introduced the Anti Cheat system known as The Hyperion System. It is the same one that Fortnite uses. This broke all the known cheats at the very first days that it got introduced. But eventually, the cheaters came back! Even the bans were as long as 2 weeks long…

What Has Changed Since Then

In the next patch or the big update of Season 14 however, the promise has been made that sounds to us like they’re strongly believing it like no time before. The effort that has been put into breaking the cheaters’ code is tremendous and makes us excited to even listen to this news!

Now they do have the same anti-cheat system that manages to catch a big percentage of the cheaters, but the report button has been completely modified. This will be the most effective thing to get banned. Even cheaters have said that this is their weakness!

So make sure to report everybody you see from now on. The report button is no longer just a button to press without any use, now it is our biggest weapon to battle those cheaters!

Will we ever get to say that this new update will end Cheaters for good? Well, only time will tell. Until then keep reporting all the cheaters you will encounter!
