Roblox Blade Ball beginner's guide

The new popular Blade Ball on Roblox is a fun dodgeball game, but if you’re new, this beginner’s guide is for you. We’ll show you the steps to play the game and the mechanics and how to become the last man standing.

Complete Beginner’s Guide

First off, we’re going to show you how to play the game. You will notice that you have two buttons on the bottom of the screen: Block (F) and Ability (Q). There are also three gamemodes: Classic, 2 Team, and 4 Team.

Vote on whichever gamemode you want to play which starts when the previous game ends. In Classic mode, the last man standing is the winner and you do this by making the ball hit other players to kill them.

Use Block when you see a ball flying towards you. You definitely have to learn about the timing of the ball, which has a pretty narrow hitbox. This is the basic of the game but do note that simply learning the acceleration of the ball isn’t enough.

As you can see next to block is the ability. Overtime as you gather more coins, you can unlock different skills that will curve the balls, etc. Access the Abilities page by clicking on the Skills and Skins page.

The Invisibility ability doesn’t work during Standoff, which is the 1v1 or when there are two players left. Forcefield is also weaker during Standoff. Abilities can also be upgraded to increase their strength.

Finally, one has to remember that this is almost like a Battle Royale where everyone’s for themselves. Make use of the situation, eliminate other players, but most importantly, survive and always be ready to deflect balls. And that’s all the basics in Blade Ball for this beginner’s guide!
