Blade Ball is like an intense game of dodgeball where you and various other players use all sorts of abilities to throw an increasingly fast ball into one another. The game has a test server where you can try out upcoming changes early, and among the latest additions is the new ability known as “Force”. So, what exactly does it do?
New Force Ability in Secret Update
First of all, in order to actually try out any upcoming or potential changes to the game, you will have to search for the “bladeball test place” experience on Roblox.
You may have to resort to Google to find it, just in case the developer changes the name. Make sure that you only enter the one created by the verified user named “Wiggity.” as they are the official developer.
Once you enter it, you’ll immediately notice that pretty much everything is free and you may find some content that is currently not available in the actual game.
As of writing this, the test version of the game currently has a new ability known as Force. According to its description, it allows you to release shockwaves that knock enemy players back.
Its first upgrade increases the shockwave’s radius and power, as well as reduce its cooldown timer. The second upgrade further increases these bonuses and changes the ability’s particle effects to a much darker tone.
Based on the ability’s description, it seems to be a great choice for disrupting your opponents or keeping them away from you if they try to get too close.
Unfortunately, as of writing this, it seems to be somewhat bugged as it doesn’t actually knock enemy players away. This is completely fine, however, as bugs are to be expected in the test zone and this will likely be fixed or reworked eventually.
Potential Free Acquisition Method
In the test experience, you will also find an Ability Training Event. This will presumably appear in the main game in the future, and it claims that you can acquire a permanent ability for free if you complete it.
In the example seen in the test version, one can guess that this is one way to get the Force ability for free once the main game is updated with these features.
It basically acts as a sort of battle pass wherein you have to complete certain activities every day until you fill up the XP bar.
