Blox FruitsUpdate 20 has finally been released, and with it came a lot of new content, including multiple raid bosses and an entirely new island. Among the new additions is the Shark Anchor, which is a legendary sword that has high damage potential. With that said, how exactly can you get one of these new weapons?

How to Obtain Shark Anchor Guide & Showcase | Update 20

The only step involved in getting a Shark Anchor is to defeat Terror Sharks until they drop one. However, there is a way to guarantee dropping it, though it will require a bit of grinding.

First, go to the new island, Tiki Outpost. While facing the Boat Dealer, take a right, and then turn at the corner once more. Jump all the way up to the wall and go to the left, where you’ll see an entrance to a building.

Inside this building will be the Shark Hunter NPC, who will help you craft certain items. You will need to craft both the Tooth Necklace and the Terror Jaw in order to unlock the item you need.

The Tooth Necklace grants the wearer bonus run speed, dash distance, and damage during sea events. It requires the following materials:

  • 1 Mutant Tooth
  • 5 Shark Teeth

The Terror Jaw, on the other hand, gives you bonus sword damage, cooldown reduction, and additional defense during sea events. It requires these resources:

  • 1 Terror Eyes
  • 2 Mutant Teeth
  • 10 Fool’s Gold
  • 5 Shark Teeth

Once you have acquired these two items, the Shark Hunter will let you craft a Monster Magnet. This will require some more grinding, but you will need this item to guarantee a Shark Anchor drop.

With the Monster Magnet on hand, you should now hunt for another Terror Shark. Instead of a normal one, you will instead be faced with a variant that has an anchor attached to it.

This variant of the Terror Shark has a guaranteed chance of dropping the anchor, though this will also consume your Monster Magnet. That means you may need to craft another one if for any reason you didn’t get the drop.

Shark Anchor Showcase

The Shark Anchor only has two abilities, but they hit hard and can be extremely powerful in both PVE and PVP situations. However, reaching the required mastery levels will need quite a bit of grinding.

The first ability is Typhoon Toss, wherein the user spins the sword around and tosses any enemies caught within range into wherever you’re aiming at.

After being tossed, upon impact, the affected targets will be caught in an eruption of water that will send them flying up into the sky.

The second ability is Armor Breaker, wherein the user will dash forward and perform an uppercut followed by a quick slam down using the sword, which creates an anchor symbol upon impact.

It requires a whopping 350 mastery to use. So, it will require a lot of grinding with the weapon in order to actually utilize. The good thing is it can be incredibly useful due to the dash’s added utility.

And that’s how you get the Shark Anchor, as well as a quick look at its two abilities in Blox Fruits. It requires a ton of work to actually get unless you’re incredibly lucky, but it’s absolutely worth it!
