Alcohol has been with humanity since we first mastered farming, some scientists even propose that alcohol making predates farming which is wild! That’s why humans love alcohol so much, and that’s why it’s also expensive and a good way to make money in games like Dinkum and Stardew Valley! Let’s find out some brewing basics in this guide.

Brewing Guide The Brewing Basics In Dinkum

So, before we do anything, we first need to make the kegs. The kegs are needed to ferment certain items so that they can turn into alcohol. So, we need those kegs in order to make the sweet nectar of the gods. To craft kegs, you need Woodcutting to level 10 and have the Woodcutting License Level 2. Once you’ve got those you’ll need 5 Palm Wood Planks and 1 Iron Bar for each Keg.

Once you’ve made them you can place them anywhere you want. For this guide, I chose a random beach so that it won’t be distracting. To begin brewing something, you’ll need to actually get 10 units of certain ingredients. You can use either Bottle Brush, Yellow Wattle Flower or Jelly which you can get from killing jellyfish.

Here are the brews that you can make with these items and their effects:

Wattle Brew

  • 25 Energy Restored
  • Max Energy +25
  • Better Woodcutting, Mining, and Fishing for 10 minutes

Bottled Brush

  • 25 Health Restored
  • Healing over time for 60 seconds.

Jelly Brew

  • 50 Health Restored
  • 50 Energy Restored
  • Better Farming for 10 minutes

The items for non-jelly items from brewing can easily be found while going around the island. It takes a while for the brewing process, but once it’s done it should just spit out the brew in front of the keg just like other furniture that makes items.

Congratulations, you now know how to brew in Dinkum, now go out there and make your brewing empire!
