I myself love taking pictures in video games. Whether it be in-game cameras from games like Dinkum or very high-resolution screenshots from Elite: Dangerous, there’s something relaxing in taking pretty pictures in games. Here is a guide on where to get the camera in Dinkum.
Where To Get Camera In Dinkum
First off, at the start of the game, you should be asked by Grandma Fletch to get some permanent residents to the island. One of these permanent residents can be Theodore, the person that will be taking care of the Island’s Museum. So, you better start working on making the museum if you want to take those pictures!
Once you’ve opened the Museum, you should start collecting bugs or fish to show off. Bugs can be found all over the island which can range from flies to spiders. I don’t know why you’d want to go to a museum to look at flies but whatever makes them happy, I guess. Fish can be caught in different places around the island, so if you keep on getting the same fish at the same spot, try going somewhere else for different fish.
The number of requests to unlock the camera may vary. Some people unlocked it after donating 8 things, some unlocked it after donating 7. I unlocked it after 10 donations. So, if the camera hasn’t appeared yet then keep on donating to the museum! Once you’ve unlocked it though you can now buy it for 16,000 Dinks!
Now with this new camera, you can take pictures all around the island! There are also requests on the Bulletin board for specific pictures so keep an eye on those as well! For me, I always enjoy taking pictures of the scenery or being an absolute menace to the island’s inhabitants by zooming really close to their faces in hopes of annoying them.
Now go out there and take those pictures!
