The Harran Virus may have overtaken the world, but people are still trying to survive. Due to the outbreak, the windmills in Houndfield were deactivated. Reactivate them once again to unlock the faction structures and create a safe zone!
Houndfield Windmills Location – Dying Light 2
Here are all the locations of the windmills in Houndfield:
- The very first windmill in Houndfield is the Birch Windmill. You can find it on the northwestern part of the map as shown in the photo below.
To climb it, climb the wooden platform with a yellow cloth and jump to the metal ledge on your right.
Jump across the next metal ledge once it goes up. Wait for it to go up then jump across the wooden platform with the yellow cloth again. From here, jump up across the metal platform then climb the ladder to your left.
Once you climb the ladder, reactivate the Birch windmill.
- The next windmill in the Houndfield area is the Cherry Windmill which is on the eastern part of the map. Climb the wooden ladder with a yellow cloth then jump across the metal ledge.
Wait for it to go up and aim for the platform with the yellow cloth again. Once here, jump to your right and keep following the yellow paint on the wooden ladders until you reach a wooden platform forming a bridge.
Cross the platform carefully to get to the other side and climb the ladder hanging in the air. Activate the Cherry Windmill.
Once this last windmill is activated, you now completed the safe zone in Houndfield.
