The Harran Virus in Dying Light 2 caused a massive outbreak and took down all modes of transportation. One of the transportations you can restore is the Metro. Doing so can unlock the fast travel waypoint in the area.
Hayward Square Metro – Dying Light 2
The Hayward Square Metro is in the central area of the Houndfield region. Keep in mind that the Metro will be filled with infected during the day. Enter the station and go down the staircase, opening the gate to the platforms.
Keep going down and turn left when you reach the room filled with infected. Crouch under the gates and open the gate with the yellow paint on your left. Follow the path going down, crouching under the gates and tables.
When you reach the room filled with wooden crates, turn left and follow this hallway until you see an opening to the trains on your right. Pass through the trains and you will get on the other side of the platform.
Lockpick the door on the left side of the platform and activate the electric box inside. Jump down on the shaft on your right, following the quest markers. Once you are on the lowest floor, you will enter a room filled with trailers.
- Jump on top of the trailer and grab on the broken staircase to the left with a yellow hanging cloth. From here, turn left and head north, jumping down and following the red light. Restart the generator in this room and go back out.
You should see a staircase and a ledge on your left. Jump over to the ledge and keep jumping across until you reach an open door. Do not enter the door, instead, jump across from it and follow the metal railing on your left until you see blue tubes.
- Use the yellow ledges to get to the ladder and enter the room on your left with the red blinking light. Restart the second generator and jump across the stairs on your left. Head down and aim for the left metal platform on the edge.
- Keep heading north until you get to the third room with the red blinking light. Restart the third generator.
Now, it is time to head for the last generator. Jump over the stairs and climb the small metal ledges as seen on the photo above.
- Now keep jumping across, heading north until you reach the blue trailers. Jump on top of the blue trailers to get to the upper floor. When you are at the entrance near the room with the red light, use the tube beside it to get to the last generator.
Now just follow the quest markers to restore the power in the Metro Station.
