God of War Ragnarök is the ninth installment in the God of War Series and a sequel to the much-acclaimed God of War released in 2018.
Developed by Santa Monica Studios, its gameplay boasts impressive cinematography combined with combo-based combat. It is an action, adventure, hack-and-slash game played in the third person.
The game was released in early November 2022, and as of writing, it is only currently available on PlayStation.

Plot
As Fimbulwinter is nearing its end, Kratos and Atreus are visited by Odin and Thor in their home. Here, Kratos learned of Atreus’ attempts to find Tyr, the current God of War believed to be killed by Odin.
The three (joined by Mimir) then traveled to Svartalfheim in hopes of finding Tyr after seeing the prophecy regarding Ragnarök in one of the Giant shrines.
This journey spiraled into various events and encounters in different realms that ultimately aided with the conclusion of Ragnarök. Set out on this journey with Kratos and Atreus and, once again, determine fate.

Summary
God of War Ragnarök is without a doubt a Game of the Year contender and possibly a clear winner! You will be getting your money’s worth for the high price that this game has and even if you are a newcomer to the God of War franchise, this game is also a perfect place to start with. We definitely recommend getting God of War Ragnarök as it improves on the very successful formula from 2018.

Talon Bow
