Grimoires Era is a fun Roblox game based off of the popular anime and manga, Black Clover. In the game, you will take control of a character that you can make stronger as you fight. Along the way, you can do that by doing many quests and talking to NPC’s that will give you abilities.
Now the big question here is: where are they? What do you need to do? In this guide, I will show you where you can find all of the NPC’s that give you abilities, as well as the Quest Givers in Grimoires Era.
All NPC & Quest Givers Guide + Location
The game is fairly new and has just received its very first update, so there’s not going to be a lot of things you can do in the game. I’ll divide the guide into two categories: 10 regular NPCs and 6 Quest Givers.
Even so, you should stay informed about everything that’s happening in the game if you’re planning on investing some time into it. With that said, you can check out the game’s official Trello that gives you all the information you need.
NPC Locations
There are a total of 10 NPC’s that will give you upgrades when you talk to them, all with different prices you need to pay before they can teach you.
Stat Reset NPC
The Stat Reset NPC can be found in the village. Head to the large staircase and you will find him in the corner to the side. Talk to him and he will ask you for 50,000 Yen to reset your stats.
Dash Upgrade NPC
The next upgrade is the Dash Upgrade NPC, which can be found in the town as well. From the Stat Reset NPC, go up the stairs and head into the town.
Look at the side of this house and you will find the Dash Upgrade NPC there. Talk to him and he will give you a quest you can do to get upgrade for 10,000 Yen.
Spin Dealer NPC
The next NPC can be found in the town as well. Keep moving down the path from the Dash Upgrade NPC until you spot a big house. Behind the big house, you can find the Spin Dealer NPC, which you can get 10 Grimoire Spins for 50,000 Yen.
Farming NPC
Not far from the Spin Dealer NPC, you can find the Farming NPC. This NPC can be found just at the outskirts of the town. Look for the pink shack and you will find the Farming NPC. You don’t get any upgrades from him, but you do collect vegetables for him.
Blacksmith NPC
For this next NPC, you need to go back to spawn. From spawn, you can find the Blacksmith NPC just to the side of spawn. Talk to him and he will let you craft different items for different prices.
Good Faction NPC
Just to the side of the Blacksmith NPC is the Good Faction NPC. Talking to him will allow you to join the Good Faction and nothing else.
Evil Faction NPC
Of course, when there is a Good Faction, there is an Evil Faction. Not far from the Good Faction NPC, you can find the Evil Faction NPC as well.
Double Jump NPC
For this next NPC, you will need to travel deep into the map to find him. Luckily, this NPC can be found by looking for a lone house in the middle of the map. It’s not hard to spot it, considering the house is surrounded by torches.
You can find the Double Jump NPC behind the house, and he will show you how to double jump after you pay him 10,000 Yen.
Night Light NPC
For this next one, you will need to go back to spawn. From there, go to the outskirts of the town again and you will find two buildings next to each other. The one on the right is the Night Light NPC, and he will give you a night light to use in the game.
Flight NPC
For the last NPC, the Flight NPC, we will need to do a bit of travelling. From the spawn, head to the church. This will be your starting point. From here, face northwest and keep heading in that direction.
Keep heading northwest until you find an area filled with high platforms and a tall platform in the middle. The Flight NPC can be found at this top platform. Head there and talk to him to learn how to fly.
Quest Giver NPC Locations
For the Quest Givers in the game, there are only 6 of them in total, and you can find them in different places all over the map. Each quest will also have different difficulties that you can select. The more difficult it is, the better the reward and XP.
Quest Giver 1
The first Quest Giver can be found in the outskirts of town. He is easy to find because he has a sign that says “Bandits” right next to him. Talk to him, and he will give you 3 options for this quest:
- Bandit – Level 1
- Strong Bandit – Level 10
- Evil Old Man – Level 20
Quest Giver 2
The next Quest Giver can be found relatively close by. Start from the church and head south from the church. Keep going until you find this NPC standing by a tree. He will give you 3 options for the quest as well:
- Evil Nobleman – Level 30
- Desert Wizard – Level 40
- Fire Wizard – Level 50
Quest Giver 3
The third Quest Giver can be found in another town, one with sand around the area but still in the forest.
The Quest Giver can be found next to a tree in the corner of the town. Talk to him and he will give you the following options for the quest:
- Corrupt Wizard – Level 75
- Corrupt Dark Wizard – Level 100
- Corrupt Wizard Boss – Level 125
Quest Giver 4
The fourth Quest Giver can be found in the island in the middle with a lake surrounding it.
The Quest Giver is standing by the tree in the middle. Talk to him and he will give you the following options for the quest:
- Bandit Commoner – Level 150
- Bandit Nobleman – Level 175
- Bandit Royal – Level 200
Quest Giver 5
The fifth Quest Giver can be found in an encampment located just south of the Farming NPC. Keep going south of the Farming NPC until you find the encampment.
The Quest Giver is found on the side of the road. Talk to him and he will give you 3 options for the quest:
- Corrupt Blacksmith – Level 225
- Corrupt Commoner – Level 250
- Corrupt Nobleman – Level 300
Quest Giver 6
The last Quest Giver can be found east of the town. Just keep heading east until you find the Quest Giver on the road. He will give you 3 options to choose for the quest:
- Corrupt Magic Knight – Level 350
- Corrupt Senior Magic Knight – Level 400
- Exiled Magic Knight Captain – Level 450
