All games put tutorials at the start of the game. It’s how they get players to actually learn how to play the game and let them roam free and do what they want when they have learned everything they need to do. But some players tend to be smart with the tutorials and just outright not do them, seeing if the game will do something about it. In High On Life, there is a fun little interaction that occurs when you don’t shoot at the start of the game. If you are interested, read on to see what happens.
What Happens If You DON’T SHOOT At The Start – High On Life
Kenny has some… choice words to say to you
When you first start the game, you are being invaded by aliens. A bounty hunter dies, and Kenny, the first gun you will receive, will be picked up by you. He then asks you to shoot at the aliens as they start decimating the neighborhood.
At this point, you should know how first person shooter games work, right? Everyone know how these games work: you point the reticle at the enemy and press the button to shoot. But what if you don’t shoot? What if you just sit back and watch the aliens destroy the houses?
Well, Kenny will have some choice words with you. He starts cussing you out, telling you to start shooting. He asks you to press random buttons, asking you if it’s your first time playing a video game. If you open the menu and exit it, Kenny starts calling you an idiot for it. Other than that, nothing much happens, so you just finally start blasting aliens after some verbal abuse from Kenny.
