When we play games, especially RPGs, we’re often driven by the story or the loot. Especially the loot for most people since nothing beats finding a treasure chest! Nobody knows this better than Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail players!
Hoyoverse loves giving their players rewards and treasure chests in their quests and worlds. In this guide, we’ll show you how to find some treasure using a Treasure Map you find in one of the side quests “Survival Wisdom” in the game! Now let’s see where that treasure is!
Find the Treasure According to the Treasure Map
In Honkai Star Rail, one of the side quests you can get in Jarilo-VI is Survival Wisdom. This side quest involves Sampo and collecting some missing tools. After you’ve gotten the tools, you’ll be given a Treasure map and you’ll need to use it to progress the quest.
Here are the steps on how to Find the Treasure According to the Treasure Map:
- Use the Treasure Map;
- Go to the area marked on the map;
- Interact and Investigate the treasure;
- Give the item to Sampo.
In the Survival Wisdom Side quest that takes part in the Great Mine in Jarilo-IV you’ll get a Treasure map from Sampo. This is after you find all the missing mining tools he needed; the quest now wants you to find the treasure.
First, you’ll need to use the Treasure Map. You can either go to your inventory and use it there or use the Function Button to the lower right of the screen. If you’re using the inventory, the map will be in the Missions tab.
Whatever way you choose to use the map you’ll see an image like the one below. There you’ll see a rough outline of where the treasure is marked by an “X.”
The Treasure is north of where Sampo is, but you’ll need to take the eastern path to get there. If you’ve already explored the area, then you can use the Overlook Fast Travel Point to get there faster. From there just head Northwest sticking to the southern wall.
Once you’re in the general area look for the place with tents. In the middle of a couple of tents is an area where there’s an interactable shiny item. Go towards and investigate it, this will give you the treasure!
It’s not really treasure since the item you’ll get is an Anti-Dust Mask. This is actually the last missing tool Sampo needs, so go back to Sampo and give him the mask. That will finish the quest Survival Wisdom!
That’s how you find the treasure according to the Treasure map in Honkai Star Rail. That wasn’t much of a treasure hunt but at the end of the quest Sampo actually gives you the Real Treasure Map.
