If you’re new to Hoyoverse games, you’d be surprised by the amount of hidden achievements that you could easily miss. The Xianzhou Luofu map of Honkai: Star Rail hides many secrets amidst the bustling modern streets of the Cyberpunk Chinatown ship. The achievement known as “The Seven Errors of Cycranes” is one of those achievements.
What’s so fun about this puzzle is that you get an achievement for finding each cycrane, and then another one when you found all of them. Once you’re done with this guide, you will receive a total of eight different achievements. All The Seven Errors of Cycranes Puzzles
The requirements to find all seven cycranes are to have the Xianzhou Luofu maps open and be at least Trailblaze level 29. We have yet to figure out which quest locks the achievement called “The Seven Errors of Cycranes,” even if you’ve unlocked these maps, because the cranes don’t automatically appear.
We star from the easiest one to spot, the Depressed Cycrane who’s sitting on the small bridge near the entrace of the Central Starskiff Haven to Cloudford. He’s, indeed, contemplating about life. But after talking for a while, he’ll decided that maybe going back to his old job wasn’t so bad and recommend you find Ziqiao. You’ve found the “sloth.”
Go meet Ziqiao and then tell her that you “came across a depressed cycrane” to prompt the hidden mission. Both of you then realize that the cycrane that should’ve just been an AI gained self-awareness and went rogue in the cutest sense. Then you learn there are six other cycranes just like this one.
The next one is still in the same map, to the right. The Resentful Crane is sitting next to a small park. He gives you a challenge called “Courier Delivery.” Basically he wants you to find him based on a small section of the area and you thought, “Oh, okay.”
Well, guess what, he lied.
The screenshot above indicates the actual location. You have to go further than what the cycrane claimed he was at. Hilarious enough, once you’ve found him, he went on a rant how some people just can’t give the exact location for delivery purposes. He’s the “envy.”
If you’ve been there, it’s honestly relatable.
The next one is hidden within a small corner of a shop. There’ll be a clutter of cycranes and you can interact with Dissatisfied Cycrane. This time, it’s a quiz. The cycrane will rope in the Salesby into his quiz unwillingly.
“I either can only tell the truth, can only tell lies, or must say a lie after a truth. You can only ask two questions, and then I’ll ask for your answer.”
Dissatisfied Cycrane
While it’s fun to try and make the right guess, by answering it wrong, you’ll grant this cycrane what it wanted: happiness. Answer that he’s a cycrane that always tells the truth. You’ll then bring “Gluttony” back home.
Children in the Exalting Sanctum can be seen playing with another cycrane. It is the Cycrane with the moniker “Stonker” and no, you’re not going to duke it out. If the nick hints anything, yep, it’s a math question.
Little Johnny and Susie have been tasked to plant flowers in ten pots. Little Johnny takes 5 minutes and Susie takes ten to soil one pot. Susie sow seeds three times faster than Little Johnny. Then the cycrane said he’s a capitalist with only ten strales so how many does Susie get?
Technically it should be five each because regardless, one has to be fair. Whatever you answer, it’ll end up with you finally saying each of them get five. And the “pride” left to return to the Heron Express.
The next guy is in Cloudford just chilling on a box. When you interact with the Cycrane known as the “Evil Dragon,” you will become involved in a dialogue roleplay with the bird. Then an Abacus Circuitry puzzle will appear. By finishing the circuitry, you fixed the heron’s memory. That’s “greed.”
Still in Cloudford, another cycrane is flying on the south of the map near the entrance. He’ll ask you for one last request before he goes back to work. Follow the Courteous Cycrane to find his lifelong obsession – machine designs. A Cloudford Knight will ask what you’re doing there and the cycrane will escape. “Lust” runs away and you trust it’ll go back, right?
Finally, in Stargazer Navalia, the Brave Cycrane will be there trying to fight off the enemy. In its attempt, however, it short-circuited and you end up having to clear the mess. You’ll talk with the bird as it whines about failing to activate his Wrath mode and send him back to the Heron Express.
At this point you’ll realize that the cycranes represent the Seven Deadly Sins, but with slightly different interpretations. Go back to Ziqiao and tell her you’ve found all the cycranes. They won’t delete their memories just because they have a little bit of intelligence. But then you found out that there’s one suspicious trajectory left. Oops.
You get all eight achievements at 5 Stellar Jades, so that’s a total of 40 Stellar Jades! Pretty dope, right?
