In Honkai Star Rail the first are you go to is the Herta Space Station. For Genshin Players out there you’ll probably have some whiplash on how different the first scene is for this Gacha game. It really hits you hard with the sci-fi theme from the start. Throughout the story you’ll run around this space station finding doors and chests. One of the doors is locked though, and it requires not one, but 3 keys!
In this guide we’ll show you how to to open the Triple Authentication Door in Honkai Star Rail. You might be wondering if it’s worth the trouble and the answer is yes! There’s a Precious Treasure Chest in that room filled with loot!
Triple Authentication Door Puzzle
In the northeastern parts of the Base Zone in the Herta Space Station you might stumble on a locked door. The door needs 3 Authentication keys to unlock so you’ll need to find them!
Here are the steps to open the Triple Authentication Door:
- Get the Access Authentication Key;
- Get the Corporate Access Authentication Key;
- Get the Thousand Stars Access Authentication Key;
- Open the Triple Authentication Door!
Access Authentication Key
The first key you can get is just north of the locked room. There you’ll find a Space Anchor if you need to replenish your team’s Health. You’re going to need it because you’ll be fighting something!
That something is the mini boss at the end of the room. This boss can be tough for players who haven’t leveled up their characters yet. Make sure your characters are at least higher than Level 13. Also remember to bring at least a Physical damaging character like the Main Character and an Ice character like March 7th/Mitsuki.
Once you defeat the mini boss, he’ll drop the Authentication Key and you can go find the other ones!
Corporate Access Authentication Key
The next key luckily doesn’t need you to fight anything, but it will strain you mentally instead. You’ll need to go to the Master Control Zone in the Herta Space Station and go to the place marked on the image below.
There you’ll need to find the Man with an Afro; he might be named different depending on your region like “Man with Luscious Hair.” Whatever his name is he’ll be in the same spot shown below.
Talk to him and exhaust ALL of his dialogue options. Afterwards he’ll give you the authentication key. Now on to the next one!
Thousand Stars Access Authentication Key
The next key is to the western part of Storage Zone in the Herta Space Station. There you’ll a room with a chest in the southwestern part of the area.
Just outside the room next to the doorway is a shiny interactable item on the floor. That’s the last Keycard you need for the door!
Opening the Triple Authentication Door
Once you have all the keys you can then go back to the Base Zone and go to the locked door. Interact with the screen next to the door and submit all the keys. This will finally open this door and you can look inside!
Inside the Room is a 2-wave battle that you’ll want to beat. These enemies are around Level 19 so adjust your part accordingly. All the elements are great for this fight since the mobs have a wide range of weaknesses.
Once you defeat them you can then open Precious Treasure chest at the end of the room! There you’ll get the 4-Star “The Seriousness of Breakfast” Light Cone along with the usual rewards for that kind of chest like credits and Stellar Jades!
