Sometimes you just stumble upon an item in a game, and you have no idea what to use it for. Maybe it was given to you by a quest, or you picked it up somewhere because you’re a loot goblin. Whatever the case, you’ll occasionally know that an item randomly pick up is related to a quest. That means quest rewards and stories that you might miss out on!
In Honkai Star Rail, you’ll run to an item called “Key to Somewhere.” In this guide we’ll show you where to use the Key so that we can get those rewards! Now let’s see where this key will take us!
What to Do With The Key to Somewhere
The Key to Somewhere item in Honkai Star Rail can only be used after finishing a set of tasks. That means you’ll need to do a couple of quests to use the key.
Here are all the steps to get to the point where you can use the key:
- Complete Hook’s Treasure quest;
- Go to Inventory and Activate the Treasure Map;
- Do the Treasure map quest and the next one after that;
- Give the Key to Somewhere to Julian.
At one point in the game you’ll do the Hook’s Treasure quest. When progressing through the quest you’ll get the Key to Somewhere. Later on Hook will give you a Treasure map, you’ll need to do that quest and the next one after that.
Once you’ve done the prerequisite quests, you can then talk to Julian and give him the Key to Somewhere. If you can’t give it to Julian or can’t access him, you’ll need to do the side quests first with the treasure maps.
