Updating your Xbox controller is pretty simple. Xbox constantly uploads updates you can install through your Xbox, but if you use your Xbox controller on your PC, there may be some questions.

First thing you will need to do is to go to the Microsoft Store first. From here go to the search bar and type Xbox Accessories.

When the app is downloaded, open the application and click on the three dots.

NOTE: You can check some information for your controller here and make it vibrate so you can make sure that the vibration motors are still working.

Here you will see the update option if there is an update avaliable.

Click on the update and it will remind you that you need to connect the controller with a cable in the computer.

The update may take a few minutes or longer, it varies depending on your internet and your device but nonetheless, updating is a fairly easy process.
