Is Cyberpunk 2077 Actually Good Now?

Cyberpunk 2077 was the biggest thing in the gaming community even months before it was released. Players were putting things on hold just so that they could experience this game to its fullest. But the first problem was, it got delayed, and delayed and delayed. Then another set of problems appeared – it wasn’t polished, optimized, or even finished!

In this article, we will be discussing the state of Cyberpunk 2077 in 2033 and actually explain whether it is Actually Good Now. Let’s get started.

Cyberpunk 2077 – Is It Actually Good Now?

Cyberpunk 2077 in early 2023 is actually a very good game to try out as it is in a very stable state. You will get the most out of this game as it was intended to be at its release date and that is why we can definitely say that you can give it a try without further thinking about it at all.

Not just the polishing of the game, but there were a lot of new updates that the game has gotten to improve the overall experience and content of the game. Things that Edgerunners and DLCs about the future updates make a lot of players that originally tested out the game to be running back to it right now. Also, the new anime that just got released helped out a lot too!

Cyberpunk 2077 right now is a much different Cyberpunk than the one that you originally tried when the game got released in December 2020. Here we shall go over the most important things that have had an overhaul of it:

  • Police System – completely changed from scratch. You won’t get them to spawn on top of you and instead be inside the living and breathing world, as well as their combat to be significantly improved
  • Driving – the weight system is much more improved and the overall control and balance that you’ll have with the vehicles is much easier and better, and also much more fun. Also, the Minimap is now your friend when you are driving!
  • NPC & AI – this system has been improved in a variety of ways – drivers will drive around, no longer freezing bystander NPCs, and some NPCs will now actually function as human beings and actually matter and try to fight at times too!
  • Crafting – you are able to craft multiple items at once and actually reject phone calls from NPCs
  • Content – a lot of new content to the game that adds a lot of exploration possibilities, new items, and a variety of apartments to own. There are a few additional sidequests including one linked with David Martinez(connection with the anime)
  • Perk Tree – the perks and talents are overhauled and a lot of the weapons as well as skills now function much better with this tree
  • Economy – the entire economy has been rebalanced so that you’ll actually enjoy the cash rewards as well as reduced cost of many things that were ridiculously overpriced
  • Love Interest – a lot of more text conversations and the ability to actually wake up next to your partners
  • Bugs – a lot of the biggest game-breaking bugs are now in the past. There are some minor issues still here and there but it isn’t anything that will affect your overall experience of the game like the previous ones would

The devs have been talking about the new upcoming changes and the future of Cyberpunk 2077 which is making us very excited. There will be a new vehicle combat system, melee combat improved and worked upon, also additional storylines to explain the characters to give them more depth. Just keep in mind that these changes are coming to PC and Next Gen versions of the game.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a very good game to try out and it will surprise you just how much it has come in these 2 years. It is a beautifully designed storyline with much freedom inside a gigantic world filled with mystery and chaos that only you can unfold by playing it yourself.
