When a game updates with new content you should always check what’s going to be added to the game. You don’t want to be caught unaware without any preparation after all. In Kaiju Universe, there’s a new Kaiju that you can play as and it’s the Rose Biollante. A giant plant creature with tendrils and a lot of cool moves that takes a bit of practice to master.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to unlock this new Kaiju, what the moves are and what kind of gameplay you can expect with it. Now, let’s see what this new Kaiju has in store for us!
Rose Biollante Complete Guide
The new Rose Biollante Kaiju isn’t just the best looking one in my opinion but also the best one in the recent new Kaijus. That’s mainly because this one isn’t locked behind playtime which is great! Hopefully in the future the devs add more Kaijus that don’t need us to AFK. Now let’s see what this new Kaiju is all about.
How to Unlock The Rose Biollante
To unlock this Kaiju, you’ll need to first have 25,500 G-cells. You’ll also need to have at least a Level 30 Showa Gigan. For those who didn’t like how the new Kaiju had playtime requirements in the previous patches this one is for you. The Rose Biollante Kaiju doesn’t need any playtime in order to unlock it!
Gameplay Style
The Rose Biollante is more of a Trapper kind of Kaiju, utilizing walls, snares and status effects to keep the enemy at a certain range. The more you level this Kaiju the more trap skills you get. These new skills will be given to you for every 25 levels to keep things fresh and exciting.
There are 2 modes for this Kaiju, the Rosa, which is where you deal damage with normal attacks, and the Bloesem which lets you use the trap skills.
Rose Biollante’s Moves
As stated earlier this Kaiju has two move sets, one for damaging and one where you get special moves. There are a lot of them so you’ll want to know them all by heart, so you don’t fumble around while in a fight. Here are all the moves for the two modes of this Kaiju:
Rosa
- Rosa Solace – The Basic Melee attack that does a couple of hits in front of you.
- Rosa Benediction – Can be done after Rosa Solace as a combo, it lets your tendrils with mouths attack forward. It has more range than Rosa Solace.
- Rosa Asylum/Blessing – Either a spin moves that damages anyone in range or a charging attack to close the distance.
- Rosa Dance – Buffs your strength when you use this move. You can stack it up to Strength 6 to land stronger hits!
Bloesem
- Level 1 Bloesem Rapture – Summons a wall in front of you. It deals no damage but can be great for blocking enemy attacks.
- Level 25 Bloesem Lament – Summons an AOE on the ground that inflicts slowness and grounding. It also leeches HP from the enemy to you and gets stronger with each level up.
- Level 50 Bloesem Misery – Summons a landmine snare that also leeches HP.
- Level 75 Bloesem Purgation – Summons spikes from the ground in front of you dealing damage and leeches HP.
- Level 100 Afflatus – Changes the color of the Kaiju’s rose to a random one. Purely cosmetic.
At Level 100+100 the last move Afflatus will have a new cosmetic change. Right now, there’s no information yet on what it does so keep an eye out for updates.
That’s the Rose Biollante in Kaiju Universe. Now that you know what this Kaiju has to offer go check out our guide on how to use all of the traps!
