Season 12 Top Tier List – League Of Legends
Garen still stands strong as ever. One of the first and most used champions throughout the game. He is one of the easiest champions in the game too. You just need to learn when to go in for the trades and with him doing crazy amounts of damage, while also being very tanky, you won’t have any issues controlling the top lane at all. He is pretty much never nerfed!
Singed is reaping the rewards of the buffs he got in this patch. That is why we moved him to the OP tier as well as Garen. The stat buffs to his early ranks of his ultimate are nice but his passive buff is what got him this high in the tier list. He’s much faster now and has the ability to proc way more often. Very interesting to play now indeed!
Akshan also moves to the OP tier as well. This is mainly because of how the overall meta shifted and it made it very favorable for him. The meta of heroes for the Top lane makes his abilities able to bully each and every one of them. He is an actual terror in the mid-game!
Aatrox gained all his success and renown in the last patch with the change. But it ended up being a one-patch wonder. That is why we downscaled him to the S tier now. He is still very powerful, but nowhere as close as the last patch.
Darius has only joined Aatrox and dropped to the S tier. Still, a very good option for carrying the game, don’t get us wrong, but he’s not as safe as consistent as the OP picks are for this patch right now.
Sion instead got up and is now in the S tier. He has gotten better and better with every change the game has received. He is slowly making his way up to the OP tier if he keeps going with this pace. A lot of games can be griefed simply by good Sion players!
Zac has fallen off quite a bit, and not only in the Top lane but also in the Jungle part too. His abilities and skills make him much more situations champion than what he was before.
Poppy always shifts so heavily after every patch in the game. She is now in the A tier. Depending on what’s in the meta is making her scale in the Tier List. Right now as you might imagine the meta, she’s not looking so good.
Ornn is always a good pick. The ability to buff up your mythics means that he will be using them every once in a while. But on the other hand, his individual carrying power isn’t looking so great right now so that is why he’s moved down to the A tier as well.
Cho`gath has moved up a tier! His passive is making him a really strong Top Laner so you can actually win almost all of your lanes by the war of attrition. Once he gets his ultimate and his necessary items he becomes very useful.
