Lethal Company, the breakout game sensation of 2023, recently dropped a massive, all-new update. Several horrifying new enemies, items, and gameplay improvements are included in the Version 45 update, “Frosty.”
So, let’s examine everything that the most recent version of Lethal Company has to offer.

New Store Items
There are three new store items that you can purchase for your benefit in the game. Check out the list below to see what these items are.

Spray Can
The $50 spray can, which comes with a finite quantity of paint, is a new addition to the update. You need to shake it by using the Q key before use, and it’s ideal for designating exits and dead ends.
The color of the paint is random for each mission but remains consistent across all players.
You have the ability to paint various surfaces, including teammates but not enemies. Simple dots and lines can be strategically used to guide players through the maze-like maps.
This new addition could save you so much time when you are trying to find your way out of the bunker.
Signal Translator
The signal translator, which costs 255, is incredibly useful for terminal users. It enables users to message every player in the game with a brief message of nine characters.
This extremely versatile tool can be used for both coordinating team strategies and issuing warnings about potential enemies.
You can easily help each other by doing some work sharing at Lethal Company.
If one of your team members stays on the ship while the other is trying to navigate in the bunker, the new signal translator might be extremely useful for your survival.
Radar Booster
Now equipped with flash capability, the radar booster is mainly used to slow down coil heads. For roughly five seconds, it renders them temporarily incapacitated, allowing teammates to make an escape.
Using the “flash” command, players at the ship terminal can now blind and stun enemies. However, you should be careful when using this new item. It is possible to blind and deafen your own teammates as well.
Arachnophobia Mode
The Arachnophobia Mode is a small update to the game, but it might be very important for some players. This mode allows you to change the look of spiders in the game.
Instead of a normal-looking spider, you just turn them into texts that follow you.
Rather than have the spiders changed to a different model, have them replaced with something else, or have them removed entirely, developer Zeekerss came up with a brilliant substitution.

Ship Upgrades & Scrap Items
There are three new ship decoration items added to the game. These are a welcome mat ($50), a fishbowl ($50), and a Pyjama Man plushie ($100).
By purchasing these new items, you can enhance your ship and make it more of a place of your own.
As for the scrap items, there are six new scraps you can collect from bunkers.
- Wrapped Gift Boxes: Players have the option to either open or sell these gift boxes. When the box is opened, a random scrap item that may spawn on this moon will come out.
- This appears to be a good option on the more challenging moons, where scrap spawns can have a higher value.
- Chemistry Flask
- The Homemade Flashbang: By pulling the pin, you can stun and blind nearby enemies as well as yourself.
- The Comedy Mask and the Tragedy Mask: These items are very pricey, but you should be aware of them when you come across one. Wearing the masks for an extended period of time can cause you to become possessed by the Mimic.
New Enemies
There are two new frightening enemies in Lethal Company. These enemies are the Mimic and the Nutcracker.
The Mimic is the first enemy we are going to talk about. You can use two ways to spawn them:
- First, if a player wears the Comedy or Tragedy Mask for too long.
- Second, like any other regular enemy, can also appear out of nowhere, anywhere in the bunker.
Mimics, as their name implies, impersonate other crew members. Around the moon, mimics will prowl in search of players.
The Mimic will follow and attempt to seize another player if it is able to locate them. They might even briefly sprint in your direction.
The worst part is that they are not restricted within the compound’s boundaries. They can, therefore, follow you outside.
Nutcracker spawns on high-level moons and is restricted to the inside. Nutcrackers patrol the grounds of the complex.
They will occasionally pause to look for movement; this scanning phase is indicated by wooden creaking noises and an exposed yellow eye.
You’re going to have a difficult time if the Nutcracker sees you while scanning. It will chase you down and shoot at you with a double-barreled shotgun.
The shotgun can kill you with one shot because of its potency.
Other Changes
Lethal Company has also altered a number of mechanics and exploits. Among them are:
- The ability to harm enemies without allowing them to harm you, known as the “Rail Cheese” exploit, has been removed.
- Crouching makes it easier to avoid Forest Giants.
- Key Bind Settings were added.
- Modified the Mansion complex map generation process.
- Fall damage has become more severe, so even when you are fully healed, you could still die from it.
