How To Please The Company Guide

1. Charge Your Gear

Most of the gear you’ll get in this game runs on batteries. Make sure everything always has juice by charging your gear when you get the chance. It’s easy to forget to do this in the bustle of the game, but making sure your gear is charged will increase your chance of survival.

There’s a recharge station on the ship. There’s no cost to using it so feel free to charge all your devices so you don’t have to dump them after an hour. Additionally, a good tip is not to charge your walkie-talkie mid-day

This is because the battery life of the base walkie-talkie lasts around the same time as a run. A walkie-talkie should last 13 minutes and a run will last 11.

2. Terminal Tips

You don’t have to type the entire command in full when interacting with the Terminal. You can use abbreviations to speed up the process of buying items in the shop or choosing where to travel.

For crewmates playing the role of the radio operator, you can pull up the ship’s radar on the Terminal by using the “view monitor” command.

3. Scavenging

Scanning

Never stop scanning when you’re scavenging for loot in facilities. This helps with navigation, and visibility, and helps you determine how much loot you can get from a facility.

To expound on navigation, scanning allows for light to bounce off surfaces, giving you the knowledge of elevation and depressions in the map to help you avoid dead ends and tight corners where monsters might be lurking.

Scanning also helps you scan for dangers right in front of you that you otherwise wouldn’t have seen until it was too late.

How to Please the Company: Scanning

Leave Your Loot Outside

A rookie mistake players tend to make is leaving their loot inside the facility. You should leave your loot outside by the entrance of the facility.

There are monsters that will steal your hard-earned loot. This also prevents the possible loss of your loot in case you end up stuck outside the facility due to monsters.

Every facility has multiple entrances and exits, so coordination with your crew is key. Discuss which entrance will be your prime loot location.

Moreover, make sure someone is always knowledgeable about where your loot is situated on the map. Scanning will only ping the main entrance, so make sure you don’t lose track of your loot locations.

4. Threats

There are several monsters in Lethal Company. Bug-like monsters and horrors beyond our comprehension lie within the walls of the facilities so stay alert and learn how to counter each monster.

The presence of some creatures will force players to end their runs lest they face certain death, but most monsters in this game are manageable with a little know-how.

You can defend yourself with tools like the shovel or stop sign and whack at most enemies; however, some enemies will have higher HP than others. You’ll need serious firepower to take them out.

The Weather can also be a cause of concern, so knowing which weather conditions are safe and which ones are a no-go is key to staying alive in the wilderness.

5. Know When to Leave

Sometimes knowing when to leave is your biggest asset in the game. Picking and choosing your battles is also a major part of survival in Lethal Company. And hey, a wounded employee is much better than a dead one. You can always loot that facility some other time.

Weather conditions like an Eclipse or encountering an extremely infested facility are good reasons to hang up the towel. Time is also important. You only have until midnight to explore a moon; as time passes, the moon gets more dangerous as nocturnal creatures begin to roam.

0 days to meet profit quota.

6. General Tips

  • Avoid selling to the company until the last day of your quota. This is the only time they will buy at 100%, so try and maximize your profits until then.
    • Selling any other time will get you less currency for your scrap.
  • Don’t sell all your loot – you’ll probably have more loot than your company quota. Save it and sell only what’s required and keep the rest to get a head-start on your next quota.
    • This only works if at least one of you survives the next day, or else all your loot will be lost.
  • You can move items in your ship to give space.
  • Move your Terminal close to your door to make opening the door easier.
  • Move the light switch somewhere convenient to you for when it gets too dark.
  • Keep the company happy – don’t ring the bell too many times.
  • DON’T MISS YOUR QUOTA.

And this sums up all the ways to please the company and keep yourself valuable in Lethal Company! We hope this guide is helpful to you.
