Lethal Company: Jetpack Guide

Lethal Company is full of adventures to take on with your friends. However, we understand that it can be extremely frustrating when you are trying to find your way to your ship at night while carrying a heavy object and a giant entity is chasing you, ready to kill you on-site.

That is why you should purchase a jetpack to get rid of all (most of) this trouble. In this guide, we are going to talk about everything you need to know about this expensive yet very useful item.

Jetpack Guide

The Jetpack is one of the most expensive items you can find in your ship’s store. It costs 700 credits in-game terminal. This amount of credits is pretty difficult to collect when you first start the game.

You might expect the first areas you are going to travel to be easy, but seeing a giant slime on your way while you are trying to understand the game might be a traumatizing experience… We know, because we have been there.

However, if you managed to collect enough credits with your hard work, it means that you are ready to go! Let’s see how you are going to buy the jetpack in the game.

1. To access the interface and interact with the terminal console, press the E button.
2. Next, manually type “store” and press the Enter key.
3. Enter “Jetpack” as the item’s name.
4. After typing the query, hit Enter.
5. When you have finished using the terminal, exit the ship and enter the planet.
6. A delivery ship is scheduled to deliver the jetpack shortly.
7. When it does, proceed to the location and press the E button to pick up the item.

While doing that, there is one important thing you should keep in mind. If you are going to change the map, do not purchase your items before landing there.

It does not matter that you have already chosen your route, if you are on another planet, your items will arrive at your current one. Unfortunately, you cannot get the items or your credits when this happens.

How to Use the Jetpack

At first glance, you might think that using the jetpack is going to be very fun and easy. Well, you are wrong! Most of the players die when they are trying to use their jetpack for the first time because it is actually very tricky. Let’s first see how you are going to use this item in theory.

1. Wearing the Jetpack, press the left mouse button to launch yourself upwards.
2. When you get to the height you want, press and hold the space key to keep it there.
3. To adjust the direction of flight, use the same WASD buttons that you use for normal movement.
4. When you are prepared to descend, let go of the spacebar.
