Nightingale: Fairy Ring Guide – How To Craft & Use

Want to figure out how to craft a Fairy Ring? We’ve got your back!

The Faerie Ring Craft List in Nightingale.
Let's go ahead and make ourselves a Fairy Ring, shall we?

Have you been having a good time playing Nightingale’s Early Access? If you haven’t gotten around to playing it yet, I wholeheartedly recommend it. The game is a curious, whimsical mix of crafting, survival, portals, the Arcane, legendary beasts, and so much more. That being said, if you’re interested, we have a complete guide on Fairy Ring, which include how to craft and use these items to your heart’s content.

Fairy Ring Guide – How To Craft & Use

The first thing you should learn about the Fairy (or Faerie if you wanna be all Fae about it) Ring is its primary use. After all, what’s the point of such a guide if you don’t even know what it’s for?

So, the thing is that the world of Nightingale is huge. And I mean huge. Not only that, but the game has some rogue lite elements as well, which means each map you create is procedurally generated — no two realms are alike.

As such, you’ll need an item to help you keep track of important locations, such as your first base. It allows you to move all around the Fae wilds without having to worry too much about hoofing it the whole time. Keep in mind that the Fairy Ring acts as a Respawn Point, which means if you get knocked out, you’ll end up in the neared Fairy Ring or Respite Point.

This one’s no fun. But hey, if you’ve got yourself a Fairy Ring, no problems!

Finding the Synchronous Lotus

First and foremost, you’ll want to know one of the most important pieces of the puzzle when crafting the Fairy Ring — the Synchronous Lotus.

The Synchronous Lotus is one of the more important items in the game, as it allows you to craft Portals, Transmuters, and of course, the Fairy Ring.

So, the question stands: where do you get the Synchronous Lotus? There are two answers to this question, and both of them require a bit of effort to attain. You see, you can get the Synchronous Lotus from a Fae Tower (the last level), or the Underground Fae Ruins.

Keep in mind that both of these areas require a player to solve puzzles and fight battles. It’s a good idea to ensure that your Gear is up to par, and you’re as prepared as you can be to get the job done.

Crafting the Fairy Ring

Got your hands on a Synchronous Lotus? Good! Keep in mind that these items are rare, so consider where you want to use this item. Naturally, this is a Fairy Ring Guide – How To Craft & Use, which means we’re going to craft our Fairy Ring. To do so, you’ll need the following:

  • Synchronous Lotus x1 – Take care as you traverse either the Fae Tower or the Underground Fae Ruins. Remember that you’ll get this item from the chest at the end of either area.
  • Wood Bundle x4 – You can gather Wood Bundles as you travel across the realms. You can chop down trees to get them, or you can have fun and use the Legendary Forest Spirit Carnute to gather the Wood Bundles. Uh, wait. On second thought, just gather them on your own.
  • Stone Block x4 – Similar to Wood Bundles, you can gather this resource around the realms. They’re typically near Water Basins.

After all that effort, it’s simply a matter of crafting the Fairy Ring and placing the structure wherever you’d like!

Phew, that was a heck of a battle. Better be careful next time.

By the way: I have a neat little guide on how to battle against the Legendary Forest Spirit Carnute. Interested? I knew you would be!
