Nightingale’s Early Access has been out for a few weeks now — how do you guys feel about it? The devs have certainly poured passion and creativity into the game, haven’t they? I think they’ve done a fantastic job, and I can’t wait to see what they have cooked up for us when Nightingale actually releases. Until then, how about I make things easier for you guys by giving you a quick guide on How to get Lustrous Ink?
How To Get Lustrous Ink
So, the process to get Lustrous Ink is relatively simple, but it’s a higher tier material that can help create items such as Ascended Realm Cards. These are the cards that you’ll be using to hop into Different Realms, so it’s a good idea to learn all about How to get Lustrous Ink.
Starting with the Stations
First and foremost, you’re going to need some crafting stations to get the job done. These include:
The Smelter
- Stone Block x6 – You collect these items throughout the realms, specifically near rock formations and water basins.
- Rocks x6 – Similar to the Stone Blocks, you’ll find these items throughout the realms. They’re even easier to gather, in fact.
The Saw Table
- Wood Bundle x8 – You can chop down trees to get them.
- Animal Fibre x4 – You can gather them from various animals in the realms. Of course, I would recommend you go for Prey rather than Predator just so it’s easier.
The Masonry Bench
- Lumber x4 – Turn Wood Bundles into Lumber through the Simple Saw Table.
- Stone Block x4 – You collect these items throughout the realms, specifically near rock formations and water basins.
- Animal Fibre x4 – You can gather them from various animals in the realms.
The Mortar Station
- Lumber x3 – Turn Wood Bundles into Lumber through the Simple Saw Table.
- Fibre x8 – While you can gather these from animals, it’s often easier to gather Fibre from plants.
The Refined Mortar Station
- Lumber x3 – Wood Bundles into Lumber.
- Carved Stone x4 – You’ll need Stone Blocks x2 to get your hands on some Carved Stone.
- Stone/Mineral/Gem/Pigment x2 – Fortunately, you can use any of these items to craft the Refined Mortar Station. Of course, the easiest to go for would be Stones or Gems.
The Brazier
- Ingot x6 – Using the Smelter, craft the Ingots utilizing Ore, which you can get for mining mineral deposits.
- Shaft x2 – You can make them using the Smelter for Ingots x2.

The Refined Saw Table
- Lumber x4 – No need to repeat this one yeah?
- Blade x2 – These items are a rare drop from enemies, can be purchased from the Essence Trader, and can also be crafted from the Brazier (you’ll need Metal Plates x2, which you can craft from Ingots x3).
- Mechanical Gears x2 – Grab these items from the Brazier for Ingots x3.
The Refined Masonry Bench
- Carved Wood x3 – Using your Refined Saw Table, all you have to do is craft the Carved Wood using Lumber x4 (Wood Bundles into Lumber through the Simple Saw Table).
- Mechanical Gear x2 – Craft these from the Brazier for Ingot x3.
- Metal Tip x2 – Use the Brazier and Ingot x2 to get it.
The Excellent Saw Table
- Carved Wood x4 – You’ll be using Lumber x4 and the help of the Refined Saw Table for this.
- Etched Alloy Ingot x4 – The Alloy Ingot requires Copper Ore and Tin Ore (for Bronze). You can get both types of Ore through Mineral Deposits. You can then use these Alloy Ingots to create an Etched Alloy Ingot using the Brazier.
- Motor x1 – Get your hands on a Motor with Mechanical Gear x2 (these can be crafted from the Brazier for Ingots x3), Copper Wire x1 (you can get them from the appropriate Ingot in the Smelter), and Ingot x2 (you can get them from Ore using the Smelter).
- Steel Blade x2 – You’ll need Metal Plates x2 to craft this one at the Brazier.
The Excellent Mortar Station
- Gilded Lumber x3 – You can get Gilded Lumber with Lumber x2 (gather Wood Bundles, then turn the Wood Bundles into Lumber with the help of a Simple Saw table),and Ingot x2 (using the Smelter, craft the Ingots utilizing Ore, which you can get for mining Mineral Deposits). Keep in mind that you’ll need the Excellent Saw Table to get the job done.
- Precious Metal Etched Ingot x3 – This follows a similar patter into the Etched Alloy Ingot, only this time you’re making the Ingot from Precious Metal. While the locations are different, the process is the same.
- Flower x3 – You can gather all kinds of Flowers from across the realms.
- Filigree x2 – You can craft Filigree using Wire x4 and the help of your trusty Brazier.
Of course, you’re probably already familiar with all of this, but I just want to make sure you have everything you need.
