Nightingale is a multiplayer PVE survival game that has you going through different realms and exploring them, collecting resources that will help you prepare for the next realm to explore. As a Realmwalker, you will mostly find yourself alone while exploring, but that doesn’t mean that you are always going to be alone.
In fact, even if you are playing solo, you can still have companions with you to help. But first, you need to recruit them. In this guide, I will show you how you can recruit survivor companions in Nightingale.
How To Recruit Survivor Companion Guide
We touched on how to get companions in our complete beginner’s guide for Nightingale, but never on how to obtain them. Well, it’s actually not that hard to do, but that is depending on the survivor you are talking to. How do you recruit them? You do them a favor first.
Complete Survivor Request Before Recruiting Them
As you explore the different realms in Nightingale, you will stumble across other survivors who are doing what they can to survive. While not all of them can be recruited, majority of them can be, but you will first need to complete a request or activity from them.
For example, an NPC named Walter might have a request for you to help him in completing a structure. Bear in mind that the requests are random, so you might get different requests for other survivors as well. Some of these can be done solo, but it might help if you have a friend or two to help out and speed things up.
Once you accept the request, you will then have to complete the activity. Again, the requests might differ, but always make sure to come prepared.
Once you complete the request, go back to the survivor and you will see that above their name they now have the “Recruitable” tag. That means that you can speak to them and recruit them to join your party. Once recruited, they will follow you wherever you go, even doing tasks you tell them to do.
That’s all you need to know on how to recruit survivor companions in Nightingale. Did this guide help you recruit the companions you need to traverse the realms? Let us know in the comments below.
