Nightingale is a multiplayer, survival PVE game that has you going around different realms as you progress through the game. In theses different realms, you will find mythical creatures that you only see in your fairytale books and other stories. One of those monsters you can find is the Sun Giant. But unfortunately, he’s not that easy to find once you reach a certain part of the game that requires you to find him. In this guide, I will show you how you can find the Sun Giant in the game.
Where To Find The Sun Giant
Before you actively go out to find the Sun Giant, you will first need to craft the following Cards:
- Desert Card
- Requires Paper and Ink.
- Hunt Card
- Requires Coated Paper, Vibrant Ink, and Essence Dust.
These two items are essential in looking for the Sun Giant, as the Desert Card and Hunt Card increases the chances of him appearing in the Hunt Desert realm, which is where he resides. Remember to use the Realm Transmuter if you are already in the Hunt Desert realm. If not, simply use the cards before going in.
Sun Giant Location
Now we know how where the Sun Giant is in Nightingale, but what about finding him? Well, you will need to explore the Hunt Desert realm. He does not have a specific spawn location coded into the game. He will randomly spawn anywhere in Hunt Desert. The Hunt Card and Desert Card are just to increase the chances of him spawning, which usually works.
What you do next is you look around the Hunt Desert realm to find the Sun Giant. He’s not that hard to look for, as he is quite literally a giant that is standing out from his surroundings. But once you do find him, bear in mind that there is a bug that forces companions to attack the Sun Giant when they see him.
It’s because the Sun Giant can be an enemy, but only when attacked. So, the companions are just doing what they’re coded to do, but a little too early. If this happens, bring a gun to the fight, as the Sun Gian deals massive damage when he attacks you.
