How to Solve Gup Sorting Puzzle
To solve Gupp Sorting puzzle in Risk of Rain Returns, you should sort the Gupps by their size. Basically, like a pyramid:
- 1 Big Gup on the top.
- 2 and 1 Medium Gup on the middle.
- 1 and 3 Small Gup in the bottom.
You should also keep in mind to use strategically placed holes on the floor, where you can guide them to lower levels.
Moreover, pay attention to the number and height of the stones on each level because it gives you a hint about the sorting.
But remember, the topmost level should remain empty since it doesn’t contain any stones. When they become small enough to fit into holes in the floor, they will be able to reach to lower levels.
But be careful because killing even one small Gup will restart the level, and you will have to start over. Avoiding small groups might be a good idea for this instance.
You can start by heading to the top level and locating the big Gup in a tiny room. Eliminating the big Gup will transform it into two medium ones.
You can then create a distance between them and guide them to the lower level. They will follow you.
Sorting them by starting with bigger ones can be a good strategy throughout the game. But pay attention to where you are leading them.
On the lower left corner of the map, there is one small stone. This means there has to be one small Gup in that area.
On the right side, there are three stones. With the same logic, this means you have to guide three small ones there.
Also, you need to place two medium Gups on the left side of the second floor and one on the right side. Lastly, on the third floor, you must leave one big Gup. After that, you’ll have the challenge completed!
